Wholesome movie, lacking in some parts but made better with the acting.

I thought this was a nice movie that was a little boring at times with the tennis scenes. It seemed long at times and the cinematography could have been brighter. The best parts were the flashback scenes with the younger grade school character who did a superb job of acting. I also thought the parents did a good job with making it believable. Overall I am a fan of tennis and I do think that it has a good message but it could have been more focused on family and more on the hardships of being deaf than on the tennis. Maybe the scenes could have been shorter with tennis. A good, wholesome message that I enjoyed.
