It would be better if they would not reveal to us at home who they are. I would rather guess myself. It would at least then be a bit of fun for the home viewers as well.

It isn't a bad premise. Unfortunately, most of them disclose who their relative is on the first episode so it leaves no incentive for viewers to watch. I think people would be more interested if they had to figure out who they are rather than watching other people try to figure it out.

I don't understand a single negative review. This show is amazing! For anyone who loves shows like Big Brother and games with a lot of strategy, this show has it all! I highly recommend... which I understand is meaningless because you don't know me... but either way, it's a better show than it sounds like it would be. Much better!
Logan and LC are the new greatest reality show duo's in history. Anyone disagree? Fight me. I hope it gets a season two! If it doesn't I will cry a lot and nobody needs that. Especially not my partner. He would be so furious with all of you if you allowed that to happen.

I'm on episode three and this is the first reality show I've seen that actually revolves around strategy and alliances to win. Instead of pointless carnival games and calling each other fake while ugly crying before getting voted out by group mentality, the contestants actually have to think about what they are doing, and use their information to play the game. Even the mini challenges are interesting, because what matters more than winning is the clues they get from said challenges, and losing on pupose can also be a strategy. On top of that the contestants are fun and likeable, and there's the intrigue of finding out who they really are. There's some classic big brother drama here and there but it's mostly light. Also, having the 'Jonas Brothers' Brother and his Brother as hosts is top meme.

I'd say it's more of a 9.5 rating, because it could use a couple of tweaks. But first.....
Some of these bad reviews are just being silly. It may not be your cup of tea but some of those descriptions are so juvenile. 🙄
My favorite things: I loved all the puzzles and clues. All of the challenges were unique and interesting and I loved the one hour format, because they used that time wisely. I personally enjoyed learning more about these individuals and the 'confession chair' was informative, and a lot of fun. Many people like a 30 minute run time because TV trains attention spans to be very, very short. Aren't there enough crazy, over the top, dramatic shows out there? Ones that allow, neigh, encourage extreme negative behavior? They're just a chance to show the very worst of yourselves to the whole world. The more outlandish and over the top, the better the ratings.
This show is a little more meaty than that. And, while each character was a bit of an jerk on occasion, it was more the nature of advancing in the game than getting to behave consequence free. This game was meant for the contestants as well as the viewers.
This show wanted to showcase the contestant's personality, knowledge, puzzle and problem solving capabilities and strategy efforts. And I love that the time format allowed for that.
My biggest complaint is similar to some other reviews here. I wish that none of the contestants revealed to us who they were, right up front. Not sure why they left that up to the contestant because I'd guess most viewers wanted to play along too. The ones that didn't reveal, created fun audience participation. I really enjoyed working those out as the show went on.
I loved the dynamic of the contestants. Yes, there was some drama. But nothing cut throat.
Logan was my favorite person. Only one person really made a fool out of themselves, and that was on their departure. Just really a very unfortunate, ugly display of nastiness.
I really do hope the ratings are there for them to do a second season. What a breath of fresh air!

I thought the show was good but agree with others that more fun to try and figure out instead of revealing who they are right away.
PLEASE reveal who all the clues in the challenges belong to at the end at least! This season had so many clues from challenges never figured out who even belong to like the chef ones, pickle, and chili !!!!!!!!!!!
Why people look them up and ruin it before are revealed is amazing to me; talk about spoiler alerts! My sister did that and ruined the whole season by telling me ahead of the time of finding out who are for sure!
Not going to let her do that again if another season!

It is so refreshing to watch a reality show with a brand new concept. I thoroughly enjoy the show and I'm looking forward to all the seasons to come. It would be great if they did not reveal the relatives to the viewers at home so we could guess along, but other than that it's so fun and interactive! Lovely that the challenges are not lame, but they actually require teamwork and critical thinking, as well as testing your pop culture knowledge which is always fun. Kevin and Frankie are great hosts and I enjoy how they are not cheesy and quirky as most reality show hosts are.
Don't listen to the haters! The show has great potential. See you at the next watch party!!!

Two of the Jonas brothers host this near-celebrity game show that is a competition. Each of the contestants is related to a famous person. The goal is to guess the familial connections of the other contestants while keeping your connection a secret. If your connection is officially guessed, you are eliminated from the show.
Like "Big Brother" or other shows where the contestants live together, bonds are formed and alliances are made. Contestants use various strategies to remain in the house.
Along the way, lots of clues are dropped and---if you win one of the regular games---you can earn extra clues.
The tone of the show is light and the games are often playful. Viewers will probably enjoy guessing along with the players. Physical resemblances and personality traits can be clues or red herrings. If you enjoy game shows like "The Mole", where clues are used to decipher facts, this show might be for you.

I decided to try to watch it because the concept sounded interesting, but with how "reality tv" normally goes I wasn't hopeful. I was genuinely surprised with how this one was really good.

I am having the best time trying to figure out who is related to whom WITHOUT looking it up!!!! Please, if you watch.... Don't look them up! The suspense-fulness is addicting! I've been surprised at a few of them thus far! I'm still trying to figure out a couple of them also!!! I've been surprised at a few of the revels! I'm glad they didn't tell us who everyone is really related to from the jump because it would take out the fun of seeing if I already know! The challenges are an added bonus trivia for the players and viewers! I really hope to see this show continue!!!!!! If you enjoy celebrity trivia or get into their family lineage, this show will not disappoint!!

Where do I even start? Having Kevin Jonas & Frankie Jonas as the hosts of this show is either just the best punchline or ironic. I don't know, not to be shady but they are considered their claim to fame from their siblings... especially Franklin (sorry Frankie). If you like shows like Big Brother and also LOVE pop culture; this is the show for you. Having the "shadows" of celebrity relatives compete in several competitions, creating social alliances, and you trying to guess each others celebrity relatives in absolute genius. As a competition and reality show, it's so entertaining. I bought cable television just to watch weekly. I don't want to miss an episode. It is a MUST watch.

While the show is not perfect, it is a good way to pass half an hour. The mystery dynamic of attempting to figure out relationships is what keeps the show engaging and entertaining. That said, the show does attempt to rely too heavily on drama when the real intrigue is attempting to decode the relationships. I feel this show has potential, but some changes need to be made for this to be viable for a second season.

When this show first debuted I didn't watch it. I would just go to the end to see what celebrity they were related to but it wasn't much fun because I didn't know the contestants and wasn't invested in their stories because I didn't know anything.
Some point during Season 3, I finally watched an episode in full and I was hooked. I really thought it was going to be stupid with a bunch people living together but I was 100% wrong.
So, I went and binged watched season 1 and season 2 and I felt so stupid for not giving it a chance. I really missed out because I already knew who a lot of them were related to.
Now for Season 3 I've seen all the episodes in full and will continue to do that for every season that comes out.
It's not stupid at all. There are a lot of fun personalitites and the trickery that goes on is fun. The guessing is the best part. I also like the games which are a bit over the top sometimes but they're related to discovering clues to who's related to who so that makes it much more fun.
I still don't get the talent show part at the beginning of the seasons. But that's the only one.
I hope this stays on forever and I hope they release 2 seasons a year.
It's phenomenal. Brings me so much joy.
A few things I don't like about it is the voto booth part, it takes way too long and I'm impatient.
The fact that they let it be known who the celebrity relative is if someone has guessed it correctly.
The clues are too easy sometimes and it's so obvious who the celebrity relative is. Like in Season 3 with Dedrick, that was so obvious. You could bet money on that without a care.
At the end of Season 3, for some odd reason one of the final 3 told 2 former contestants who he was related to right before the finale and not only was that stupid (I get that he felt no one would be able to guess him because he had all the cards in his hand but still) but they also told the audience at home.
How cool would it have been to be completely surprised at who his relative was on the finale. Just edit out that part.
No one guess that person, they were focused on a different genre so it would have been a huge surprise for the audience at home.
I see that are fixing it especially after season 1 but they could do a bit better at concealing the celebrity identities for as long as possible. Some parts just need to be edited out.
But, I don't care whatever I love this show!

Have you ever been at a restaurant, bar, coffee shop, street corner, on a bus, etc, where there are people talking who are intensely idiotic and uninteresting, yet they speak loudly, so loudly that you cannot (to your dismay) ignore them. They speak as if filled with conviction that they are soooo Neato that EVERYONE would like to hear what they have to say. But with every moronic word they utter you feel the life being sucked from you and your IQ being whittled down to a nub. This show is filled exclusively with those people. People who you would be willing to stuff your ears with Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches in order to please-stop-hearing. Why, oh why, would they make this aggressively stupid show with these violently banal midwits, and expect anyone to watch it? And an even better question, is anyone watching it, and if so,who? We all need to know exactly who is watching it. Because anyone who would willingly watch this is a person who needs very badly to be avoided at all costs.

Honestly, I binge watched all of them in two days, I think this show is absolutely my favorite show. Please keep making more seasons! My friend was the one who introduced me about this show and I am very grateful that they did, please watch this show if you haven't! I watched it on Hulu.
I think it's interesting that Franklin is on the show, but I do really understand the point of the show and why he is on there beside Kevin.
I think the show is very creative, and I have to say that I agree with one of the commenter is that I rather to figure out who the person's celebrity relative is than the people who on there bluntly who say their relative was.

I could not keep my eyes open while watching this bore fest. It's a good idea but it is poorly execution. Why didn't the producers make it into a thirty minute game show where every day people try to guess who the person is related to and with better hosts. That would have been way more fun.
The first reviewer wrote that appears to be staged which I totally agree. The producers are not even trying to hide the fact.
I will probably just tune in at the end of the show to see what are the true identities of the contestants.

This show is better than I expected. They did a good job casting people because most of them don't look so much like their relative that it's obvious who they are (with one clear exception). They also seem like people who have real lives that don't revolve entirely around their relative's fame. They are a lot more likeable than the schemers on shows like Big Brother, though it does take a bit longer than it should for them to really start playing to win. Has a more diverse cast than you'd probably expect. Will be interesting to see if they do another season, and if they do, maybe it'd be best to leave it even more of a mystery who their relatives are.

Frankie Jonas is too much. The fourth unknown Jonas bro. Who knew besides his parents. Less is more. Don't need a ring on every finger. Not sure why a Famous Jonas signed up for this lameness. Not sure why Pepper keeps getting picked to maybe guess. 1 guy left. 2 look so much like their relatives. Not really fair. Guess Frankie would be one of those.
