How much did this movie infuriate me - let me count the ways?

The main annoyance was, of course, the main character, Mila. I'll be generous and say strong-willed but what I really mean is loud, odious, dishonest, self-serving, inconsiderate and just totally unlikeable. Perhaps it's a part of the Swedish character to be tolerant of others' behavior. If so, that appears to be with the attitude of many of those around Mila. If she did any one of the things to me that she did to harm those around her with lies, theft, cheating and selfishness, I certainly wouldn't give her the time of day, let alone any second, third and fifth chances that the other characters here gave her.

In Alfred Hitchcock's words "It's only a movie". But perhaps it was Flutra Cela's good acting in the part of Mila that made her so very unlikeable.

Whatever. Are we, the audience, supposed to come away from this movie thinking that young women in Sweden are spoiled, arrogant, opinionated and dishonest bi*ches? If so, the movie's producers succeeded.

No more than 5 out of 10 from me.

There have been thousands of movies like this but this movie is beyond one of the worst ive seen. There is many movies focusing on Females wanting to play football and everyone tells them they can and in the end they succseed to everyones shock. So the plot have been in thousand of movies with the tiniest of tiniest of changes.

The movie tries to be relateble for the Female teenagers but it does not work cause of the bad preformence of the diffrent parts of the movie. Like Acting, Writing and Directing.

It also tries to have emotional moments but it just does not work. I cant feel the emotion when i dont care about these characters.

No idea why this doesnt have more reviews, it is like an A-tier movie, better than most the other soccer movies out there! 8/10 - like queens gambit! :)

Its nothing that hasnt been done before, what differentiates it from others imo is in how genuine it is while still being entertaining. It pulls you in from the start and keeps you invested the entire time not wanting to take your eyes off the screen. This script and story could have gone in any direction but the way the movie captures the emotions of the story and how relatable and real the characters feel, I would say the overall presentation is exceptinally well done.

One of the best films out there, even watching it with subtitles I was captured and involved in the story. The close bond between Kia and Mila draws you into the film and it is made so well. This is an incredible film perfect for the ages of 12-100+ and it is a must watch. The ability to portray such characters as if they are an actual person is outstanding and the technical filming is so good. This story is soo good that it keeps dragging you in for more.
