If you enjoy 'old school' martial arts movies with the 70's style music, slapstick comedy and just good stereotypical razzing of different races, this is the film for you! I really enjoyed the simple storyline and the flow of the film. This movie is funny and clever yet entertaining with good actors and good action. I thought the music selection throughout the film was perfect and the sound effects were part of the fun. At the same time there was a universal message of 'never giving up' on your dreams that is the underlying story. I give this film an excellent rating and cant wait to see maybe a Sweet Ninja Brown...Sugar Part 2??

Sweet Ninja Brown is a throw back to when over the top was cool. if you love the 70's style film making for all its unique characteristics, you'll enjoy stepping back in time for this one. Director Alberto Triana and Somnium Productions truly captured the essence of the 70's style kung Foo/Chinese action movies. Complete with amped up sounds of fast moving hands and feet coupled with the unnecessary pans and zooms that defined that era and style of film making. Sweet Nija Brown comes complete with Good guys, bad guys, Bad girls and Bad guys that might as well be girls plus a whole lotta Ninjas. Written by Sean Jackson, Director Alberto Triana holds no punches, but lets them fly non stop thru a cast of politically incorrect wack jobs, Ninja's and one ordinary black dude down on his luck who goes from zero to hero...by way of the Ninja. Sweet Ninja Brown is enter the Dragon meets Blazing saddles through the eyes of Don Rickles....yeah i know think about that for a while. Kudos to Alberto Triana and the hard working folks at Somnium. To sum it all up....this movie's a trip....That everyone should take!
