According to Patrick Klepek, he received a writing credit for this film by entering a contest to come up with the tagline to Evil Bong 3. He submitted "Wrath of Bong" along with his own plot synopsis, which the filmmakers enjoyed so much they used it as the basis for the film's script. Klepek has also admitted to rigging the contest in his own favor by voting for himself numerous times in the filmmaker's poorly-implemented tagline poll.

(at around 1h 22 mins) According to the end of the credits, the next film in the franchise was supposed to be Evil Bong vs. the Killa Crack Pipe, but this never got realized.

As of June 2024, Sonny Carl Davis, Robin Sydney and Michelle Mais are the only actors to appear in all 8 Evil Bong movies. 9 if you include Gingerdead Man vs. Evil Bong (2013).
