WOW! That was satisfying ! It depicted a very tragic incident about Gaza flotilla raid . And it proved Turks can do "ANYTHING" .
It was a good idea and concept . The film showed us different location , culture , politics , ideology . But There were some illogical stunts . I know this is an action movie , but without those stunt I would give it 8 or 9 .
Allover , entertaining ! Best of luck Turkic people . Love from Bangladesh.

First time I have (knowingly) watched a Turkish movie. Regardless of bias claims, inaccuracy bleating, and all the rest from various reviews, I found this to be a gripping, fast moving spectacle as good as anything out of Hollywood, and approaching in style anything from the French action/thriller genre.
The heroes were just that, despite the violence, and it is about time that some one other than Americans, British, and possibly the French, were portrayed as super-skilled warriors. Anti-Semitic? No way, the heroine is Jewish. Pro Palestinian? Why not? These people are treated like dirt by occupying invaders with apparent impunity on the world stage.
For me, this was as riveting as Black Hawk Down or The Kingdom, with a setting and backdrop as good as the actual movie itself. Inconsistencies only serve to highlight issues and prompt further investigation for a more balanced view.
I have given 7/10 because the ending is a bit abrupt, otherwise it would have got 8 or even.....

I think if someone wanted to write a script without using his/her brain, he or she would be able to write something no worse than this one. I give it a 5 out of 10. 5 for its production value which is stunning for a Turkish action movie ,and 0 for having nothing else but action. Unfortunately movies need a story to be shot, but this one was shot only for its action scenes. Someone compares this with Munich in way probably you would compare a cucumber to a peach... The conclusion I drew from the movie is that KVF is a cruel exploitation of a real tragedy. Because the situation there is a human issue rather than simply good vs evil. Beware this movie's ill-ideology (being oppressed justifies violent actions),and enjoy it bearing this in mind that it is nothing more than a movie made to fill some people's pockets.
The first 5 minutes of the movie wasn't bad... then as soon as I saw 3 goofballs walking around the streets of Jerusalem wanting to appear like mafiosi, my worst nightmare has come to reality: Another Turkish dream made semi-real on television. Definitely not worth watching; this movie makes Steven Segal seem like god of action movies. Firstly, 100% of all Jewish characters in the movie (and not 0.1% under) appear as evil, cruel, and inhuman. The director must have put those "touching" scenes on purple to make viewers have sympathy on the villagers and Palestinians. The entire point of this movie is to make the Jews appear as the villains; maybe the director needs a history lesson. Secondly, let's just imagine for a second that humans can fly and these events in the movie were true... a little reality please? 3 guys (not to mention they look moreorless like traffic cops) managed to take over the streets of Israel and literally bombard their way in Mossad headquarters: very pathetic. A lot more effort on that behalf is still not enough to cover the ridiculousness. Thirdly, and this relates closely to my second point: Israeli soldiers (IDF) are the most skilled militiamen in the world. A couple hundred of them managed to get killed by 3 cops from a 3rd world country, and not to mention one of them is shot in the leg, and in the arm by a lethal bullet specifically designed with chemicals inside. The Moshe character was supposed to be killed the instant the chemical got in his eye.
I can say a fourth, fifth, a sixth and even a seventh note and possibly more regarding this movie, but why bother waste my time and yours. Concluding my summary, I somehow found this to be more of a comedy than drama. Let the Turks enjoy their dreams, we expect many more to come on television, and I look forward for another one of them Turkic comedies!

I am writing the review again as somehow my old review written in 2012 got deleted.
This film is jus like any action film which shud jus be enjoyed for its awesome action sequences.
I first saw this in 2012 on a dvd which i own.
Revisited it recently.
Its like Rambo on steroids.
Of course the body count aint anywhere close to Rambo 4.
The gun firing sequences r awesomely shot. The bombings, the chase, the mini war like sequence is top notch.
Action fans will rejoice. Some haters r finding it unbelievable that an elite group of only four soldiers wreak havoc on a sadist military group.
And the same group of haters rejoice when Bond, Xander Cage, Ethan Hunt, Rambo, etc. Single handedly take on huge armies.
Havent seen any of its prequel or sequel but looking forward to Valley of the Wolves : Homeland, as the trailer is awesome.
Mind you, this film is not against Jews or Israel.
It is jus an action film about one group of soliders taking on another group.
I jus enjoyed the action.

- WissenswertesThe civilian ship that's raided by the army carried out on the orders of General Ben Eliezer is based on the real life Israeli raid of the Marvi Marmara Gaza Freedom Flotilla in 2010. The Marvi Marmara was filled with both international, Palestinian and Turkish aid volunteers and peace activists bringing much needed medical supplies and construction materials to Gaza in hopes of also breaking the Israeli blockade of Gaza. The Marmara was raided by Israeli Army as it reached Gaza's shores which led to the death of 9 aid volunteers mostly Turkish and the arrests of the crew and the remaining volunteers.
- PatzerMoshe was shot in the eye. At the range he is depicted as being shot from, the bullet should have penetrated.
