B-movie fans rejoice! Your date with Parasitic monster mayhem is June 26th; this is the day when Phase 4 Films releases this title on VOD and DVD. This is also the date when an infection spreads in the ocean and into a small town bar after a meteorite strikes down. Now, the patrons will have to fight for their lives as an alien invasion takes place on an amoebic scale. Revisit the trailer below and mark your calendars for sci-fi thrills in just a few weeks.

If you like wormy monsters, zombies, practical special effects, and hot babes in your horror movies then you'll want to watch the trailer for the new creature feature Parasitic and see what happens when a nightclub gets infected by an infectious space parasite that turns its victims into zombies.

After a strange meteor destroys a communications satellite and crashes into Tampa Bay, a sickly looking fish finds itself the meal of a beautiful nightclub bartender named Val. Moments later, as the bar is closed and locked tight, the infected Val becomes ill and all Hell breaks loose. Hidden from the others, the parasite she has unknowingly eaten rapidly grows, bursting from her throat and becoming the puppet master for the chaos ahead. With no possible way to reach help or escape, the trapped club-goers must fight to survive and plan to destroy the creature before it is let loose into the world.

I’m always down for a cheesy monster movie, particularly those which involve an alien species wreaking havoc on a group of attractive human beings. Enter veteran FX wizard Tim Martin’s upcoming splatterfest “Parasitic”, a motion picture that promises plenty of the aforementioned cinematic elements. Once thine eyes have properly consumed the embedded video, you’ll understand why Martin’s skills landed him effects duties on the forthcoming prequel to “The Thing”. Parasitic is the latest indie thriller/horror film from special effects guru Tim Martin (Horror-Movies). This feature will host lots of creature effects and to star is Scream Queen Julie Anne (No Strings 2: Playtime in Hell).
