5 Park Chan-wook Movies That Proved He’s Korean Quentin Tarantino, Ranked
Image
Park Chan-wook is an iconic director who has made quite a name for himself in South Korea as well as Hollywood for his stylized drama flicks. With a focus often on violence, flair for drama, and dark humor, Park Chan-wook has often been compared to Quentin Tarantino because of how similar their films are in terms of storytelling and popularity.

Although Chan-wook’s movies delve just a tiny bit deeper into the cycles of revenge and the futility of it all, we cannot help but notice his relentless filmmaking style, just like Quentin Tarantino. With revenge taking the center stage and following a domino effect in each storyline, here are...

‘No Other Choice’ Teaser Gets the Axe in Park Chan-Wook’s Darkly Comedic Thriller
Image
Lee Byung-hun might be tempted by violence after getting the axe in the new teaser for Park Chan-Wook’s pitch-black thriller No Other Choice.

Neon will release the film in theaters this fall after its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival.

No Other Choice is an adaptation of Donald E. Westlake’s mystery thriller The Ax and follows “a man who is abruptly laid off by the paper company where he worked tirelessly for many years. He grows increasingly desperate in his hunt for new work, eventually coming to a life-altering decision.”

The novel’s synopsis might give a clearer idea of the madness ahead: “Burke Devore is a middle-aged manager at a paper company when the cost-cutting ax falls, and he is laid off. Eighteen months later and still unemployed, he puts a new spin on his job search — with agonizing care, Devore finds the seven men in...

Park Chan-wook’s Venice-Bound ‘No Other Choice’ Gets First Trailer
Image
Park Chan-wook’s “No Other Choice” is nearly here.

The latest film from the South Korean auteur behind “Oldboy,” “The Handmaiden” and most recently “Decision to Leave,” will debut in competition at the Venice International Film Festival, followed by a South Korean theatrical release and a domestic release courtesy of Neon.

A new teaser trailer out Thursday gives us a good sense of what we’re in for. Watch it below.

“No Other Choice” is an adaptation of Donald E. Westlake’s 1997 novel “The Ax,” which had previously been adapted by Costa-Gavras for 2005’s “The Axe.”

Park announced his intention to direct an adaptation back in 2009, but it kept getting pushed back due to other commitments, including 2012’s English language feature “Stoker” and his work on television series “The Little Drummer Girl” and “The Sympathizer.” At one point, the adaptation was going to be English language and he tasked his...

Lolita’s Daughters: Innocence, Eroticism, And Cinematic Obsession With The Nymphet
Image
Since the mid-20th century, cinema has been haunted by the figure of the nymphet—a sexually precocious, often underage girl, constructed not as a real child but as a projection of adult male fantasy. This figure, most famously canonised in Vladimir Nabokov’s most famous and controversial novel, “Lolita” (1955), gave rise to “nymphetmania”: an enduring cultural and cinematic obsession with the forbidden allure of the girl-child.

In Nabokov’s own words, a “nymphet” is not defined merely by age, but by her perceived power over the older male gaze—“maidens who, to certain bewitched travellers, twice or many times older than they, reveal their true nature, which is not human, but nymphic.” She exists not independently, but only in relation to the man who is bewitched by her. This dynamic—where the girl becomes a mirror for male longing, loss, and madness—has since become a cinematic trope,...

Mubi Buys Park Chan-Wook’s ‘No Other Choice’ for Multiple Territories (Exclusive)
Image
Mubi is reuniting with “Decision to Leave” filmmaker, Park Chan-wook, on his upcoming film, “No Other Choice,” which is currently in post-production and is strongly tipped for a world premiere in competition at Venice.

The global streamer, distributor and producer has bought the film for Latin America, U.K., Ireland, Benelux, Spain, Turkey, India, Australia, New Zealand, and Saarc. Cinéart will release “No Other Choice” theatrically in Benelux. Neon has bought it for North America.

Mubi has a history with Chan-wook. The company entered North America three years ago by theatrically distributing the Korean auteur’s twisty romantic thriller “Decision to Leave” which became his highest-grossing movie in North America, surpassing “Stoker” and “The Handmaiden.” Mubi had also released the movie in multiple international territories.

'Sinners' Star Michael B. Jordan To Produce Horror Adaptation 'The House of Last Resort'
Image
In just over one week, Michael B. Jordan will star opposite Michael B. Jordan (himself) in Sinners, a horror film that marks his latest team-up with filmmaker Ryan Coogler. Clearly, Jordan must have liked the experience that he had making a film in the spooky-scary genre as Deadline announces that his Outlier Society production company has won the rights to Christopher Golden’s The House of Last Resort. The New York Times bestseller is a story about dark secrets kept hidden in the shadows by a small Italian town before a new set of neighbors move in. The title is the latest to join the lineup at Outlier Society, following suit with other highly-anticipated productions that include Fourth Wing.

Although The House of Last Resort has only been on shelves for just over one year, it has already picked up a dedicated following of readers. The tale centers around an American couple,...

George R.R. Martin's "dream project" has nothing to do with Game of Thrones or The Winds of Winter
Image
George R.R. Martin is the author of the Song of Ice and Fire series, which HBO adapted as Game of Thrones. Game of Thrones was a monster hit that has produced two spinoff series: House of the Dragon is gearing up for its third season and A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms premieres this year, and there are more shows in development. That makes Martin one of the more influential writers working today; even short stories of his that have nothing to do with Westeros, like In The Lost Lands, are getting turned into movies.

And if Martin has his way, there will be more. While promoting In The Lost Lands, Collider asked him what scenes he's written he's most looking forward to seeing onscreen. Of course he named some scenes from the books he's written about Westeros, but he also brought up his 1982 novel Fevre Dream, which is set...

“My Favorite Child”: George R.R. Martin Reveals Which Non-got Novel He Wants To Adapt Next, And Major Directors Are Already Circling It
Image
George R.R. Martin is one of the most iconic modern novelists. He is best known for penning the A Song Of Ice And Fire series, which has been adapted for the screen as HBO's Game of Thrones as well as the prequel spinoff House of the Dragon. Though its later seasons were poorly received, Game of Thrones remains one of the most beloved 21st century dramas, winning a total of 59 Emmy Awards over its eight-season run. Another spinoffcalled A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, is in the works and set for release sometime this year.

Not all of Martin adaptations are created equally, however. This year's In the Lost Lands adapts one of Martin's short stories, and is performing abysmally so far. In the Lost Lands received terrible reviews, getting a 24% on Rotten Tomatoes. ScreenRant's Alex Harrison gave the movie 2 out of 10 stars, cautioning "don't waste your time" to summarize his review.

‘No Other Choice’ – Park Chan-wook’s Adaptation of ‘The Ax’ Wraps Production
Park Chan-wook
Park Chan-wook, the Award-winning Korean filmmaker behind The Vengeance Trilogy, Thirst, and Stoker, has just wrapped principal photography on his latest feature, No Other Choice, Variety reports today.

The film began filming in August 2024 and is slated for release sometime later this year.

No Other Choice is an adaptation of Donald E. Westlake’s mystery thriller The Ax and follows “a middle-aged man named Man-soo who embarks on a determined job hunt after being unexpectedly terminated from his position at a paper company.”

The novel’s synopsis gives a fuller picture: “Burke Devore is a middle-aged manager at a paper company when the cost-cutting ax falls, and he is laid off. Eighteen months later and still unemployed, he puts a new spin on his job search — with agonizing care, Devore finds the seven men in the surrounding area who could take the job that rightfully should be his, and systematically kills them.

‘Blackwater Lane’ Review
Image
Stars: Minka Kelly, Maggie Grace, Dermot Mulrooney, Natalie Simpson, Edward Baker-Duly, Alan Calton, Sally Blouet, Pandora Clifford | Written by Elizabeth Fowler | Directed by Jeff Celentano

There are plenty of reasons that murder mysteries are generally very popular. They can be made relatively cheaply, they can go straight to streaming/TV or on the big screen and a lot of people like watching them, whether it’s ‘background viewing’ or a more concentrated watch. Blackwater Lane ticks many of these boxes, both good and bad.

The murder mystery part seems pretty simple at first, as late one night a woman drives by a stranded motorist who is later revealed to be murdered. However a series of events lead the woman to believe that she might be the next victim.

At times, this does feel like a very run-of-the-mill, channel 5-style drama/murder mystery. It just runs through so many of the...

2020’s Netflix Dracula Miniseries From Doctor Who’s Creators Is Perfect To Watch If You Loved Nosferatu
Image
2020's Dracula miniseries is a totally fresh reimagining of Bram Stoker's original novel, making several huge changes from the book and giving the narrative an entirely different subtext. The project was fairly polarizing upon its release, but in the years since, audiences have begun to appreciate this series for its bold vision and clear storytelling voice. While other Dracula-inspired projects like Nosferatu have been huge box office hits thanks to their loyalty to the original text, 2020's Dracula is arguably a riskier and braver adaptation that isn't afraid to take some liberties with the story.

The Dracula miniseries comes from Doctor Who writers Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss, who bring their own witty creativity to this original script. The pair made a name for themselves on the BBC's iconic sci-fi drama, with Moffat serving as head writer between 2010 and 2017. This adaptation of Dracula stars John Heffernan as Jonathan Harker,...

Before ‘Nosferatu’, Mike Flanagan Gave Us the Scariest Vampire But Never Used the V-Word for a Good Reason
Image
Vampire shows never go out of style, and even today, we’re getting a renaissance of films and series that feature the blood-sucking creatures. Take Robert Eggers’ Nosferatu, for example. It received mostly positive reactions from fans and critics, and it had all the elements viewers wanted for a typical vampire film.

Lily-Rose Depp in Nosferatu / Credits: Universal Pictures

Unlike Nosferatu, Mike Flanagan’s own vampire story, Midnight Mass, refuses to be categorized as such. The monster — or the Angel — had all the characteristics of a vampire in the classic lore, but why does the director insist it’s not a vampire show?

Mike Flanagan explains why Midnight Mass is not a vampire series

Midnight Mass is highlighted as the most personal work ever created by renowned horror director Mike Flanagan as he sees it as a reflection of his own journey with sobriety and religion.

In the show, a...

Babygirl Officially Stops Nicole Kidman's Worst Rotten Tomatoes Streak In 13 Years
Image
Nicole Kidman is one of the most recognizable actors in Hollywood today, and she has acted in numerous genres throughout her decades-long career, leading to her most recent success with the erotic thriller Babygirl. Kidman's breakout role was in the 1989 ocean thriller Dead Calm, and she gained even more attention for her roles in movies throughout the 1990s. Kidman has even starred in erotic thrillers before, such as Eyes Wide Shut, proving that she was a perfect casting choice for Babygirl, and Babygirl's positive reviews confirm this.

However, while some of Nicole Kidman's movies have fared very well with audiences and critics, garnering numerous award nominations and wins, some of her other movies have not been so successful. In fact, the recent success of Babygirl has helped Kidman break a negative Rotten Tomatoes streak from 2023 and 2024, which was the worst she had seen in over 10 years. Luckily, Babygirl is able...

Nicole Kidman Regrets Starring In One Tom Cruise Movie
Image
Frigid take: Nicole Kidman is one of the most gifted and flat-out watchable movie stars working today. Now in the 41st year of her film acting career, she has been nominated for five Oscars (with a Best Actress win for "The Hours"), and a staggering 15 Screen Actors Awards (with one win in 2017 for "Big Little Lies"). She feels perfectly at home in any genre, and, at 57 years old, is more prolific than ever thanks to her gleeful embrace of television films and miniseries. Kidman loves to work as much as we love watching her work!

For evidence of her versatility, you can zoom in on pretty much any four-year chunk of her career and be wowed. Take 1995 - 1999 for instance: she went from Caped Crusader love interest in "Batman Forever" to Femme Fatale weather woman in "To Die For" to doomed seeker in the costume drama "The Portrait of a Lady...

Nicole Kidman Almost Gave Up Acting in 2008 After Having First Child With Keith Urban: I Was Like, ‘I Think I’m Pretty Much Done Now’
Image
Nicole Kidman almost left Hollywood for good in 2008.

After moving to Nashville and giving birth to her first daughter with country superstar Keith Urban, the Academy Award winner thought she was “pretty much done” with acting and wanted to turn her full attention to her new family. That is until her mother stepped in and urged her to keep going.

“When I get birth to [Sunday Kidman-Urban], I was like, ‘Well, I think I’m pretty much done now,'” Kidman told CBS News. “We were living on a farm, and that’s when my mother said, ‘I wouldn’t give up completely. Keep a finger sort of in it.’ And I’m like, ‘No, no. I’m done now. I’m done.’ She’s going, ‘Just listen to me. Keep moving forward. Nosferatu Proclaimed Best Horror Movie of 2024 by Alien: Romulus's Fede Alvarez
Image
Robert Eggers' upcoming film Nosferatu is proving to be a staple film of 2024. The upcoming remake of the 1922 unofficial adaptation of Bram Stoker's Dracula made quite an impression on another acclaimed horror director. Fede lvarez, who recently released the well-received Alien: Romulus, has proclaimed that Nosferatu is his "favorite horror movie of the year."

lvarez's high praise is just one of several positive reviews from those who got the pleasure of seeing the film in early showings. All of the positive reviews point to the remake of the horror classic turning out to be one of the best films of this year. Many fans are suggesting the film will also be recognized at several awards ceremonies in the coming year. The film does have quite big shoes to fill, but so far it seems to be exceeding audience expectations.

'Salem's Lot's Sleaziest Character Still Needs a Proper Big Screen Version
Image
The following reveals spoilers for Salem's Lot, now screening on Max.

Stephen King's 'Salem's Lot is as much social commentary as it is a vampire story, with its titular village representing a slice-of-American-life in bad ways as well as good. Ancient bloodsucker Kurt Barlow arrives to set up his own private barony in rural Maine, using the flawed but oh-so-human residents as his undead minions. Their petty needs and selfish squabbles make the perfect breeding ground for what he has in mind. While a few realize what's going on and fight back, most slip into supernatural evil almost effortlessly, as little sins give way to monstrous ones.

Chief among them is Larry Crockett, 'Salem's Lot's big real-estate agent and self-styled wheeler dealer. He facilitates Barlow's entry into the town by engaging in the kind of petty corruption he's practiced all his life, and never thinks...

'I Get to Kiss Batman!': Nicole Kidman Says Batman Forever Role Wasn't About the Check
Image
Over three decades ago, Warner Bros.'s first Batman film series began with Tim Burton's Batman in 1989. The director helmed its 1992 sequel Batman Returns, and didn't return for the third one, 1995's Batman Forever, which had Joel Schumacher at the helm, and a different Batman Val Kilmer, replacing Michael Keaton.

Nicole Kidman is one of the stars who joined the 1995 superhero film, playing Dr. Chase Meridian, a psychologist who becomes romantically interested in Bruce Wayne. Her character had a fascination with Batman and, as per her latest interview with L'Officiel, it looks like she might have had something in common with her character. Kidman, who had been steadily acting for over a decade when she got the role in Batman Forever, explained she didn't do it for the paycheck but the perk of getting to kiss Batman.

Nicole Kidman Interested in Taking on Chilling Horror Roles
Nicole Kidman at an event for The Paperboy (2012)
Celebrated actress Nicole Kidman has expressed interest in exploring intense horror genres in future film projects. In a recent interview with L’Officiel USA magazine, the 57-year-old Oscar winner said she wants to take on more frightening roles. “I’ve not done classic horror yet. Hardcore horror,” Kidman stated. “I’m putting it out there, because I watch hardcore horror.”

Kidman is known for diverse performances in movies across different genres. She has starred in psychological thrillers like The Others and Stoker. However, she has yet to perform in mainstream horror films. The actress said she is a fan of director Ti West, who makes scary movies like X, Pearl, and MaXXXine. Kidman also wants to potentially work with Australian filmmaker James Wan, best known for horror films, on a terrifying project.

While Kidman has starred in big-budget superhero movies like Batman Forever and Aquaman, she said those decisions were not driven by money.

Nicole Kidman really wants to do a 'hardcore horror,' cites Talk to Me as a fave
Image
Nicole Kidman is easily one of the most talented and beloved A-list actresses of our time, with countless accolades and a lengthy (and fascinating) filmography under her belt, it's hard to imagine that there's anything Kidman hasn't done yet. Except, apparently, there is at least one genre she hasn't had the chance to dabble in as much just yet.

During a recent profile piece for the magazine L'Officiel USA, Kidman revealed that she's a big horror fan. She specifically said that she enjoys watching "hardcore horror," even citing the Australian horror flick Talk to Me as a recent favorite of hers.

Throughout her decades in the business, Kidman has starred in plenty of dark dramas, many of them psychological, but the closest she's come to the horror genre is with thrillers like the (excellent) gothic ghost story The Others, Park Chan-wook's Stoker, and The Killing of the Sacred Deer by director Yorgos Lanthimos.

Blink Twice Review: Zoë Kravitz’s Derivative Debut Can’t Escape the Shadow of its Influences
Image
Over a close-up of a turtle, ominous sound design builds at such a deep frequency that the walls of a press-screening room in Beverly Hills began rattling. Once the shaking stopped and it’s realized this was not the third Los Angeles earthquake in as many weeks, the setup of Zoë Kravitz’s directorial debut Blink Twice is doled out in impressively economical fashion: Rent is due for Frida (Naomie Ackie) and Jess (Alia Shawkat). Rather than pay up and keep the wheels spinning in their going-nowhere-fast lives, Frida has a plan: retrieving a hidden wad of bills, she purchases gowns so she and Jess can crash a fancy gala after their waitress shifts end. Looking suitably glamorous, the two ignore a security guard’s insistence they stay away from tech billionaire Slater King (Channing Tatum) and his entourage. A meet-cute between Frida and Slater ensues––the entire setup straight...

Oldboy director Park Chan-wook begins filming his latest thriller, I Can’t Help It
Park Chan-wook
Park Chan-wook, the eminent director of Oldboy and Stoker, is about to start filming his latest thriller – I Can’t Help It.

Acclaimed director Park Chan-wook has begun work on his latest movie, it’s been announced. Called I Can’t Help It, it’s based on The Ax – one of the later novels by prolific novelist Donald E Westlake.

Filming is due to begin this Saturday – the 17th August if you’re reading this in the future – and will star Lee Byung-hun and Son Ye-jin according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Published in 1996, The Ax introduced Burke Devore, a middle-aged chemist who, when he loses his job at a paper firm during a round of cost-cutting, goes to violent lengths in order to get his job back. There’s black comedy as well as violence in the story, then, which sounds of a piece with some of Park’s best-known films,...

J Balvin Heads to the Club on ‘Rayo’
Image
J Balvin took the two years following the release of 2021’s José to retreat from the public eye and spend more time with his family. And for understandable reasons: the Jose album cycle was plagued by controversy, a cancelled tour, and an uncompromising verbal assault from hip-hop en español’s resident curmudgeon. When he decided to get back to work, he hit the club. Decamping to London, José spent his days recording at Abbey Road and Rak Studios and nights on the dancefloor, clubhopping and testing demos on unsuspecting crowds.

Los Angeles, April 27 (Ians) Hollywood star Nicole Kidman, who is known for ‘Dogville’, ‘Eyes Wide Shut’, ‘Days of Thunder’, ‘The Invasion’, among others, has said that she “craves” the extremes.

The 56-year-old actress has worked across a variety of genres and says she loves pushing herself to try new things, reports ‘Female First UK’.

She told The Hollywood Reporter: “I made ‘Dogville’ after ‘Moulin Rouge’! I went from lavish extremes. I’d come from sequins and trapezes, top hats, hundreds of people singing and dancing. And suddenly I was in Sweden for ‘Dogville’, completely in the dark. But then I went to Spain and made ‘The Others’ with Alejandro Amenebar, who didn’t speak English. I even worked here in Nashville on ‘Stoker’ with director Park Chan-wook, who also doesn’t speak English. I crave those extremes, those emotions. I’ve definitely had an extreme life.”

Four decades after her feature debut in 1983’s BMX Bandits, Oscar and two-time Emmy winner Nicole Kidman is set to receive a history-making honor: the AFI Life Achievement Award, which for the first time in 49 years will go to an Australian performer. But the (American-born) Kidman considers herself a part of world cinema, having worked with such renowned filmmakers as Stanley Kubrick (Eyes Wide Shut), Jane Campion (The Portrait of a Lady), Park Chan-wook (Stoker), Sofia Coppola (The Beguiled), Baz Luhrmann (Moulin Rouge!) and Jonathan Glazer (Birth). The actress and producer reflects on how the honor represents both a robust career and a life well traveled.

You’ve received many awards throughout your career. What is so special about this honor?

The list of honorees that have come before me. I’m floored, actually, because there are so few, and there are no Australians. I was overwhelmed by it.

Abigail's Biggest Horror Surprise Was Kept Out Of Every Trailer
Image
Warning: This article contains a massive spoiler for "Abigail."

Taste is obviously subjective, but for my money, "Abigail" is one of the best horror movies of 2024. It's been a few years since we've had a truly great vampire movie, and this part-crime thriller, part-comedy, part-gothic horror, part-gorefest has set the bar for vampire films in the 2020s. A group of criminals — Melissa Barrera as Joey, Dan Stevens as Frank, Kathryn Newton as Sammy, William Catlett as Rickles, Kevin Durand as Peter, and Angus Cloud as Dean — are tasked with kidnapping Abigail (Alisha Weir) and holding her for ransom, believing her rich father will happily trade funds for the safekeeping of his baby girl. Unfortunately for the group, Abigail is a vampire, and this kidnapping plot is a trap to allow her some fun before devouring them all in a gigantic feast.

Throughout "Abigail," the kidnappers and the titular vamp herself often reference her wealthy,...

Director Park Chan-wook brings his genre-bending expertise to TV with The Sympathizer miniseries on HBO, exploring the complexities of espionage and immigrant experiences. Director Park, alongside his team, made a conscious effort to stay true to the Vietnamese representation in the show by hiring dependable consultants for authenticity and guidance. With Robert Downey Jr. taking on four different roles, filming for The Sympathizer was a unique and challenging process that Director Park found both delightful and exciting.

Park Chan-wook makes his triumphant return to TV with The Sympathizer. The South Korean filmmaker became a worldwide phenomenon with the release of 2003's Oldboy adaptation, the second installment in his unofficial The Vengeance Trilogy that began with Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance and concluded with 2005's Lady Vengeance. He's since gone on to find acclaim with the 2009 horror movie Thirst, producing Bong Joon-ho's breakout hit Snowpiercer, the psychological thrillers The Handmaiden and Stoker,...

Park Chan-wook is developing his acclaimed film Oldboy for the first time as an English-language series in partnership with Lionsgate Television. Park, who directed and co-wrote the original film, is set to produce the series alongside producing partner Syd Lim.

The 2003 feature is an adaptation of the Japanese manga of the same name written by Garon Tsuchiya. It follows Oh Dae-su (Choi Min-sik), a man taken off the streets and imprisoned for 15 years who is one day released and given 5 days to find his captor.

Oldboy is the second title in Park’s Vengeance trilogy, following Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance (2002) and preceding Sympathy for Lady Vengeance (2005). It earned multiple accolades including the Grand Prix at Cannes in 2004, a first for a South Korean film. Spike Lee remade the film in 2013 with Josh Brolin portraying the lead character, Joe Doucett.

Vampire Movies Inspired by Bram Stoker's Dracula
Image
Vampires have been part of the popular imagination for centuries. The macabre folklore came from supposedly real reports of blood-sucking corpses attacking the people of small Serbian villages in the early 18th Century. Later historians, philosophers and scientists have explained the phenomenon in hindsight as paranoia and ignorance of medical notions accepted today. Meanwhile, literature and other forms of art have eternalized the mythical creature as a staple of the horror genre.

Bram Stoker wasn't the first writer to explore the concept, but the characters introduced in his 1897 horror novel Dracula have made such an impact they're still around. At the same time, the best-known vampire movies inspired by the book have only highlighted specific aspects and to varying degrees of accuracy. Horrors like Tod Browning's Dracula were loosely based on it, while comedy movies like the animation Hotel Transylvania only took certain elements.

Film Analysis: Stoker (2013) by Park Chan-wook
Image
From the three Korean filmmakers that first made the step towards Hollywood, Park Chan-wook with “Stoker”, Kim Jee-woon with “The Last Stand”, and Bong Joon-ho with “Snowpiercer”, the first one was the most controversial film among the critics, since others considered it a masterpiece and others leveled it lower than Park's South Korean productions. Evidently, Park's English debut has some issues, as the South Korean did not adapt fully to Hollywood aesthetics, but “Stoker” remains a very competent film, while the things Park learned from its shooting definitely helped him change his style for the better in “The Handmaiden”

Fair Play is a 2023 thriller film written and directed by Chloe Domont. The film stars Phoebe Dynevor, Alden Ehrenreich, Eddie Marsan, and Rich Sommer.

“Fair Play” is a movie about ambition and how a professional relationship can affect a romantic relationship. In every place, there is an expression for this that ultimately recommends the same thing: not mixing love and work.
