A big piece of the puzzle that is Sarah Walker will fall into place on "Chuck" this season: We'll finally meet her mother.

The series has cast former "Charlie's Angels" star Cheryl Ladd as Sarah's (Yvonne Strahovski) mom, EW reports. She'll appear in episode 8 of "Chuck's" final season, which will likely air in January.

Fans have been hoping that they would finally meet Sarah's mother this season, because that part of Sarah's history has always been murky. The show has flashed back to her childhood with her con-artist dad (played by Gary Cole), but mom has always been absent.

With Ladd coming aboard, it should help fill in some of the things that have made Sarah the way she is. Did she leave Sarah and her dad because of his outside-the-law life, or was there something more at work? This is "Chuck," so we wouldn't bet against the latter.

Actress Cheryl Ladd stopped by The Grove to chat with "Extra's" Maria Menounos about how she stays looking so young.

"I don't wear make up. I wear sunblock," explained the 60-year-old. "But when I come see somebody like you, and I have to stand next to this beauty... I mean, you have to make some effort!"

Ladd also talked about her upcoming Hallmark Channel movie, "Love's Everlasting Courage," in which she plays a frontier woman...

The new "Charlie's Angels" might have been met with mixed critical reviews and modest ratings for its first episode, but original "Angel" Cheryl Ladd wants audiences to give the new heavenly ladies a shot.

The actress, who is starring in The Hallmark Channel's upcoming "Love's Everlasting Courage," stopped by Access Hollywood Live on Thursday where she dished on the reboot of the original series.

"I saw the pilot and I was surprised that it was really different from the original show, but different isn't bad, different could be good," she told Billy Bush and Kit Hoover.
