A very funny and enjoyable film that's simultaneously very poor artistically

Pájaros volando is a film that won't make much sense to foreign viewers. Its humor mostly comes from cursing and absurdity, which in theory gets old quickly, yet it doesn't. It's a memorable film that's just fun to watch but doesn't contain much substance, which it probably wasn't intended to.

This film marks the second collaboration between Diego Capusotto and Luis Luque with director Néstor Montalbano after Soy tu aventura (2003), which Montalbano co-directed, and in which Capusotto and Luque starred, also portraying cousins.
