After those cases depicted in the film, there were a lot of other gentrification cases in downtown Porto. Almost all the poor population of the city were "relocated" to faraway social projects and lots of families were not placed. The habitation problem in Porto is in critical situation by 2022. Most of the houses and buildings are either empty waiting for construction approvals or empty because are "Airbnb" and are never occupied the whole year, just summertime.
