I've seen this movie twice now and it's a blast! A strong micro-budget indy that's well acted and has a sweet premise. Others may see it as sophomoric but I see it as a crew that has tons of experience in the b-movie realm. Some may also offer up boorish sentiments regarding the effects and even Reptchild himself and to this I say; have you never watched a b-movie in your life?! The puppetry is fantastic and the creature design is top notch! I think if you watch this movie and can't see the heart and soul in this film, you're probably devoid of both. I'm looking forward to seeing more from this crew and hopefully a second RC is in the works!!

I am a huge fan of horror movies and this one is on the top of my list. I have seen it 4 times now at completely separate events. I love how the film doesn't take it's self too serious while also pulling you into the story. I got good laughs for the whole film and am invested in the story now. The acting was great I loved the dynamic of the characters. It felt very much like there was good chemistry. The puppet they used has amazing detail in it. I don't really want to reveal too much but the opening scene that starts the film really sets the tone for the whole film. It's funny, it's got gore, and it knows who it's audience is supposed to be. Definitely need to give this one a watch with some friends. It's really an experience. Fingers crossed we get a 2nd film!

Not fun. Not charming. Not really anything but skippable. A bland collection of effort that wants to be talent, but, unfortunately isn't. One might think when first hearing the premise or seeing a trailer that this could be a neat little side film to watch around Halloween. Nope, not even once. The acting is sad. The effects look like a Highschool project from 1995. The lack of film experience here is what shines the most. I found myself completely bored checking my watch often. There is a deep burning regret in my soul that I experienced this film. I will never get that evening I so desperately want back. Should I ever stumble onto a time machine, the first thing I am doing is going back and preventing myself from watching this. My only comfort is that with passing years my memories of this will fade along with any mental associated connections, to a point where only the occasional random reference will flash me back to remembering it. Then, hopefully it fades back into the deep dark suppressed region of my brain where it belongs, just as quick. But, unfortunately I must carry this with me forever in some form, I will never truly be rid of it.
