Crime drama told in a retrospective talking heads style. Each episode starts with someone confessing to the murder of 'Molly Monroe' and you then find out more about that character, why and how they feel responsible for her death.
Obviously not a true crime documentary as for one thing the character actors appear in dramatic reconstructions which would've been kind of tricky had they been real people who are now deceased.
A really neat idea and a few twists and turns (despite the fact they already confessed).
Some good subtle acting performances throughout and a decent score.
Also the episodes are all under 30 mins which is handy.

Very poor acting and it was obviously well too rehearsed! It just doesn't come across as a real story at all unfortunately and I came to this conclusion within watching only half of the first episode.. its a real shame really as I think it could have been a really good series if the acting was better and came across less rehearsed.. It's hard to get sucked into the program and enjoy it when all you can think about is how bad the acting is rather than trying to figure out the mystery of what happened to Molly, that just shows how poor it is to me.. I must say, it made me cringe and laugh a few times due to the bad acting.. Without ruining anything, all I will say is, the storm out of a family member and the male model hahahaha so so sooo bad!!
On a positive, I will say though that I really liked how it started.. I thought it was a good and interesting idea on each episode starting with each individual and how each episode explained their version of events, background and why they believed they killed Molly.. The story itself was also really intriguing (some of it a little bit far fetch) and I think a lot could have been done with it and that it just could have been a thousand times better!
The main thing that ruined it for me was the terrible acting.

Really poor acting, boring accounts. The first episode was the best one and it really went downhill from there. Skipped to the last five minutes of the last episode to avoid suffering through several hours and am really glad I did.
Each episode is a personal account of why a particular person thought he or she was responsible for the murder of the victim. Some actors were better than others but none of them were great. The worst one was probably the detective in charge of the murder investigation. He was unbearable to watch. Thankfully he didn't get much screen time.
The only positive was the musical score. There is no way I'd rather wàtch this over a real crime documentary.

I seriously had to Google to see if she was a real person. Then I had to Google and see if this is based on a true story. Because the acting is so so bad. It could have been done so much better and I feel like tho I didn't have to pay for it, I feel like I've wasted my time. Great potential though. I personally don't see the captivating part of Molly, but I didn't know her and also a question is that even her in the docu series? LOL I would not waste my time with this if I were you. And I still have 96 characters left now we're down to 77. Seriously though there was so much potential but I had myself questioning the whole thing was it real ,did she even exist and if so did she even pass away? So yeah again just a total waste of time. I would even tell my worst enemy don't bother watching. In the hands of a good director and after this is great potential. Otherwise clean your room take the trash out I mean seriously. It taught me nothing I'm just left me more confused and a bit like when you're making love and your partner has ended before you even began. That type of feeling. LOL I definitely don't recommend it.
The synopsis looked promising, and I was eager to watch the series, especially since it won an award at the New Jersey Film Awards. However, it turned out to be a huge letdown. The acting was overly exaggerated and far from believable, making it impossible to engage with the drama. The "dramatic reconstructions" felt unrealistic, as they used the same actors from the main storyline, which broke immersion. The episodes opened with a confession about the death of "social media influencer" Molly Monroe, forcing viewers to follow through the entire series. The only positive was the suspenseful music. Overall, it's a disappointing watch; better to spend your time elsewhere.
