With a total run time of almost 2 1/2 hours. The title shown here is part 1. Pt two is called home planet and pt 3 is called the rise of nature. The story is the same as it's listed here. But it's longer than one ep and longer than one hour.

This is a meta-documentary, comprised of segments from other David Attenborough documentaries. Including David Attenboroughs Great Barrier Reef (2015), Galapagos 3D - Wunderland der Natur (2014), Könige der Lüfte -Wie Tiere das Fliegen lernten (2015), David Attenborough's Natural History Museum Alive (2014), and Tierische Evolution mit David Attenborough (2013). They have attempted to create new documentaries based on themes, e.g. Home Planet. But, I failed to see the relationship between the episode titles and their content. Nevertheless, the segments are all pulled from other wonderful documentaries and each episode is enjoyable to watch. I would encourage viewers to seek out the original source material. I rated this title a basic 7, as there is nothing original in the content.
