The bad overacting and the use of Tagalog that nobody really speaks. I mean their dialogue...who talks Tagalog like that in real life? Its very unnatural and fake... it' obvious its a script reading affair, the words tney use are so literal, it's like I'm in school again in Tagalog class learning words I'll never use in my life.
Anyway, the robots and robot fights are what keep me watching. This is one show where the CGI is better than the actors. Oh, and the cheesy love stories and monlogues are just terrible. And the premise that the audience is dumb by over explaining everything is quite funny too.
But hey, we watch for the robots anyway.

An honest review from a long time fan from the late 80s. VVL has managed to meet my expectations with the robot model, the base and most of the technical elements of Voltes V. The CGI is far better than anything we have seen so far from Philippine film and television. Though still needs a lot of improvement to be at par with international standards, but they are getting there. Now on to the story. I find some elements added to the original story like the romantic links between several characters (which I will not mention anymore as they are very easy to spot once you watch) are unnecessary and kind of derails from the original story which did not have any romantic links with the main characters as Voltes V was created with the intent to focus on family love, brotherhood and camaraderie and the Armstrong brother's longing to be with their father hence the original closing theme was titled: Chi chi Wo Motomete ("I Want Father") to emphasize the focus of family love instead of romantic love. We still at episode 19 so there are still a lot to see if the PH live-action adaptation will stay true and canon to the original story or will it be just a revised NON-Canon version of Voltes V from an alternate verse. I will update my review once we get halfway through the series @ ep 40. 😉
While this show is still a little far from what Hollywood movies can offer, this is definitely a 10/10 as a Filipino Show. Darna TV Series is nothing compared to this even the fact that it was highly anticipated. This is 10 times better than what the Filipinos are used seeing production wise. This deserves a huge support and I hope this will just be the beginning of something great for the Philippine Entertainment Industry.
I can just imagine how better this could have been if this was a movie instead. As I watch the episodes, I notice how dependent to post production this show is. The witty thing I notice is that they focus on perfecting the VFX for the essential scenes and that's a great decision considering the budget.
I just really hope this would be the start of bigger things for Filipinos. The Philippine Entertainment Industry should take risks like this because if they don't who will? And if not now, when?

FINAL UPDATE: First early episodes sucks balls. Bear with it, it gets better, it gets really really better, just ignore the bad acting of some parts
All budget went to CGI, CGI was good for a filipino film but everything else was bad, acting was cringe except for the veteran actors like Dennis Trillo etc., the storyboarding and the cinematography was awful, there are scenes which the context was skipped, alot of scenes which badly executed, couple of dead air shots without sense, the sound design is extremely painful, There are times where you wont hear any sounds, the environment is silent, only voices are heard, the gun firing sounds sounds like it was just put there on top of the clip not matching the shots. Terrible ending per episode, They cut like this was a 1 Full movie and cut to episodes, there are no cliffhangers on end of episodes so far to excite the viewers for the next episode, it just randomly cuts and show credits.
I would love to give them the benefit of the doubt as this is a daily episodic series, but unlike other daily episodic series, this was given time and budget to release a finished quality product, no reason for them to release a trashy series.
I blame GMA for still getting Mark Reyes, cuz he is old school and never evolved, unlike Hollywood directors which are timeless(Scorsese,Tarantino,Spielberg etc.) Quality Films even at age 60-80.
Filipino old directors never tend to evolve in directing style, writing and etc. I hope they've given this project to a younger director with fresh ideas and relevant writing. Zig Dulay excecuted Maria Clara and Ibarra very well given the daily episodic setup, Although major scenes in MCI were not perfect, I appreciate the cinematography and the concept of what Zig is trying to send, also MCI was unexpectedly unpredictable.
I've actually defended this from other bashers during the trailer release as I was hyped and surprised about the CGI quality but got really disappointed of the finished product.
I get how foreign people support this as this is a first in Philippine Cinema, and people praise this as support, But lets be real here, Aside from the CGI, nothing was good here,. Even the ColorGrading was awful, it looked like a cheap oldschool Encantadia palette (which was very untimely now) very old school TV look very 2005-2007 GMA 7 Fantaserye vibe.
Don't get me wrong I'm all for this, but I wont be blinded and fake praise this just for the gist of it. I'm criticizing this to make sure the next one would be better. If people think this is good, then future films wont make improvements
Lihim ni Urduja was waaay better in quality/writing/cinematography compared to this. Sad to say but Kick out Mark Reyes.
PS: Changed my rating, Story picked up Pace after at episode 10 Action made up for what was lacking, even the cringe acting became somewhat acceptable in some parts. STILL Sound Design is trash, acting overall is trash, but the storyboarding improved Not sure if this will be consistent, hopefully it will. The Color palette still looks awful some scenes look like they are oilpaintings. And this Telenovela Colorgrading should be removed from TV.
Another Update: OK I was wrong but the early episodes were really trash, I must say this has gotten awesome.

VVL never disappoint me, animation is good, the actors and actresses deliver a good show! And the live series answers all the questions we have on the story & also bringing out the reality of what the characters could be in person. I may have doubt on the actors you pick but after i watch the film they suit best and really touch my heart.
All episodes are awesome and brings excitement to watch and look forward!
You truly brings back the excitement of watching a series again.
Kudos to the staff and crews! I am very picky at something to watch but after i get convince of the trailer and watch the first episode i become a fan!
Hope to more success and thank you for stepping up for upgrading our film industry to a new level. You set up the bar too high!

To be honest I love the anime version. This live adaptation is quite different from the original version. There are too much romantic scene between Isabel ortega and Miguel Tan Felix. The dirdctor puts too much unnecessary scenes and deviates from the original. Changes are ok as long as it's good but that is not the case. That is the reason why it will end sooner than the likes of Abot kamay na pangarap.
Another thing I don't like is putting elle villanueva as ex lover of Miguel which never happened in the original series. They are just doing this to give the actress exposure.
When the robot fights, they put too much emphasis on the pilots rather than the robot. Those who watched the anime don't appreciate this. Only fanboys and fangirl of the actors and actress will like those things. I hope they put more emphasis on the robot fighting rather than showing the faces of all pilots each time the robot makes a move.
My 2 kids and I were so hyped when the show was announced however after few days of watching we no longer want to watch it because of the said reasons above. My kids prefer watching netflix YouTube instead or play outside. They said there are too much conversation between the cast and there are too few fighting scenes.
Remember we want to watch voltes V because of the fighting scenes not because we want to see the actor and actresses talk. They are like making voltes V a telenovela.

Who never knew that one day, our childhood memories will be on live action!
The graphics are beyond the expectations!
The building up of characters are well detailed, from the introduction up to the identification of the individual characters.
Voltes V es importancia!
You made the Voltes V and the Voltus V fans around the world experience the sweet childhood memories! All of memories are coming back once again.
A lot of questions from the Original animation was answered by the show.
The story is like box of gifts, full of surprises and more unexpected things!
Whoever did this adaptation needs warmest salutations!

The original anime had alot of strategy, science and deeper context. I've watched all the episodes as a kid and as an adult and I do miss it.
Cgi was good for the PH setting but compared to global standards it will barely compete. The conversations were very shallow and very little strategy and science. The episodes looked like fillers. The producers didn't even share the budget used for.this but it's definitely better than their other creations.
The anime was more catered to a "global" audience and was more polished. The anime was good. The producer of the anime is all but retired and original director passed away in 1980
This is "live action" is too localized and sensationalized. Personally it will not be missed.
There are negative comments like mine because this is a beloved series and this didn't meet my expectations. The Voltes V Legacy is not a worthy successor to the anime and it was disappointing.

Great overall. Highly recommended for those who have not watched the original anime series, and a great feeling to watch it all over again in live action as a fan of the anime. Big props to GMA for making this happen!
Story telling was also great starting with how the Voltes robot originated and the story of Ned Armstrong.
The CGI was expectional and the best in philippine history by far. Fight scenes were well orcestrated in CGI as well as the detailing on the Voltes robot and beast fighter.
Can't wait to see how it progress and excited to see more beast fighters fighting our very own Voltes V!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 9/10.

"This scene when they assembled!!! That nostalgic OST!!! GOOSEBUMPS!!! How I wish I'm watching this with my brothers right now. Childhood memories!"
"The live-action did not disappoint. Few scenes could have been better but overall, I was very entertained. The CGI is the best I've seen so far on Philippine TV. Di nakakahiya ipakita sa international audience,
They even recreated part of the opening for Voltes V!
Voltes V: Legacy is the best live-action CGI adaptation with the best actors like Miguel Tanfelix, Ysabel Ortega, Radson Flores, Matt Lozano, Radson Flores, and Raphael Landicho
All in all, fans are absolutely hyped up for the series, with some saying it's "worth the wait."

A LOT DIFFERENT FROM THE ANIME BUT IT HAS ITS OWN CHARM BOTH ARE 👍GOOD. AND THE WAY THE STORY FLOWS IS EASY TO UNDERSTAND IT CAUSES THE VIEWERS TO HAVE DEEPER ATTACHMENT TO THE CHARACTERS. IT CLEAR OUT SOME PLOT HOLES THAT THE ANIME LEFT I LIKE THAT IT'S LIKE AN ALTERNATE REALITY FROM THE ORIGINAL ANIME BECAUSE THERE ARE THINGS THAT IS OPPOSITE TO THW ORIGINAL ANIME THAT HAS GOOD EFFECT ON THW STORT I ALSO LOVE THAT GMA ADD SOME PHYSICS TO IT MAKING THINGS LIKE FLYING IN THE ATMOSPHERE AS VOLTES V IMPOSSIBLE BECAUSE OF HOW BIG VOLTES V OVERALL ITS GOOD AND I LOVE THST YOU CAN FEEL THAT THEY LOVE.

...you might find some parts "ok".
A few impressions:
1. CG fights are where most of the effort went. OK for PH tv but tbh games today look way realistic. The mech models are good but the lighting (the "rendering engine" is this was a game) makes them look like some ps3 games with the bloom all saturated and toy-ish looking. Also they use a full screen gradient filter that looks unnatural.
2. Live-action cinematography is standard PH telenovela, which is bad. High field of view in wide shots like in variety shows. No flow in the sequencing of shots. Almost as if no storyboarding was included in the production process.
3. Script and acting are a combination of too much and too little. Too much filler on scripts and too little effort put in the dialogue. Actors would probably act better under someone like Marilou Diaz-Abaya but unfortunately they're not.
Overall, it's better than most shows on PH tv in terms of CG, but only because that was a low bar to begin with.

The CGI and animation is amazing but the effects need more enhancement. In, TV not obvious but on bigscreen kind off.
Goodjob Actors/Actress you make the character comes to life.
The acting is natural not OA.
The humour was there goodjob.
The fighting scence are incredible.
The design of CGI are very unique specially the beast fighter.
The sequence of the story are verygood and easy to catch up.
The OST give me chills when they volt in.
Overall excellent!
I know this is the firsttime makimg this kind of film hoping to see more of this like diamos, voltron etc.

You can see that after a few episodes, the CG has improved. The Voltes V legacy has back stories that is supplemental to the next scene like the armstrong brothers' character development and strong family ties. The animations is a feast to the eyes and visually appealing. The Bazooka has improved and made it more modern than the 77 anime. It is a very good family show.
This is a huge step on Philippine TV production.
It is a show that I personally look forward everynight.
Kudos to all the management and staff, crew and artists. It bringa nostalgia to those who have watched the anime before....

I recently had the opportunity to watch Voltes V Legacy, and as a fan of the original anime series, I was pleasantly surprised by the live-action adaptation. The show managed to capture the essence and nostalgia of the beloved mecha anime while adding its own unique flair.
One of the standout aspects of Voltes V Legacy is its faithful representation of the characters. The casting was well done, with the actors embodying the spirit of the original characters and bringing them to life on screen. The chemistry among the main cast was evident, and their performances were convincing and enjoyable to watch.
The action sequences in the series were nothing short of exhilarating. The battles between the giant robots and the alien forces were expertly choreographed and visually stunning. The special effects, although not on a Hollywood blockbuster level, were still impressive and added to the overall excitement of the show.
What I appreciated most about Voltes V Legacy was its ability to update the story for a modern audience while staying true to its roots. The show introduced new elements and twists that kept me engaged and intrigued throughout the series. It was evident that the creators had a deep respect for the source material and made efforts to expand on the world of Voltes V without straying too far from its core themes.
Of course, every adaptation has its flaws, and Voltes V Legacy is no exception. Some viewers might find fault with certain aspects, such as the occasional pacing issues or deviations from the original storyline. However, in my opinion, these minor shortcomings did not detract from the overall enjoyment and entertainment value of the show.

I thought this is made by other companies outside ph in terms of cgi robot. In fact it is 100% pinoy made of live adaptation the directors and writers are widen the storywise the lore of voltes v legacy. My cons in my opinion there is a canon event characters not existed in the anime like romatic scene and antagonist like eva look like jopay and spy bozenian judy and other characters but it is acceptable. For costumes and actors and base of camp big falcon and bozenian skull im speechless of good execute and overall is 10/10 for me. Always remember fellow pinoys NO MORE CGI KAMATIS AGAIN ORAYT.
Can we talk about how great this show is? It's a 70's Japanese anime turned into a live action show. I discovered this show by accident and I am hooked. It combines romance drama with CGI giant robots and it works! So have you folks seen it and are you enjoying it as much as I am?
It's not perfect, but man, is it decent in a good way
I hope the network and studios behind this get more budget because this show has the best CGI and practical suits/effects to come out of the Philippines. You can see the dedication put into making this live-action retelling.
Unlike the BQ it's ugly poor...........

1. This is what GMA 7 does. It spends way too much (350k each) on costumes that make the characters look uncomfortable in them. Whoever suggested characters need padding is not a good designer. The original animation did not have padded uniforms that constricted movement inside a cramped space.
Even the creators of The Flash had to change the main character's costume because of fan pressure. Creators realised they were losing viewership because deviating from the original superhero costume design was a bad idea.
2. Suzette Doctolero Ranillo needs to learn how pilots or how soldiers actually talk and use military lingo. The dialogue among the characters were often disconnected. There was no chemistry. What's worse is there is no continuity between scenes.
3. The whole thing banks on the special effects that are meh..

If you have plans watching the cinematic version of Voltes V, kindly do not record the few scenes of the movie since it will be a serious offence and I stand against piracy. The thrill of watching inside a cinema was breathtaking, and it brings back memories of my favorite anime series.
Another tip, bring tissues since I almost cried into the first part and final scene. No matter what you're going into, this will give you the motivation to move forward and face the adversity in life. And please, stay for the post credits scene which will revolve the future of the series once it is aired on national TV.
Voltes V: Legacy - The Cinematic Experience will be extended until May 2, 2023. On May 8, 2023, Voltes V: Legacy will be aired on GMA after 24 Oras. No matter what generation are you from, scream it with me, together. Let's Volt In!

The attempt to recreate the anime may be seen in the effort, but still lack the opportunity to give it a real feel. The scenes are repeatedly shown in the movie, like the first episode where steve was on his motorcycle going to and going back. It was really a turn off.
I think its much better to make a reboot of the anime that is an anime. There at least maybe we could choose between two animes and make a better version of the real adopted movie.
1. This is what GMA 7 does. It spends way too much (350k each) on costumes that make the characters look uncomfortable in them. Whoever suggested characters need padding is not a good designer. The original animation did not have padded uniforms that constricted movement inside a cramped space.

It has been hard to make a real version of the a cartoon or comic but there has been successful efforts done throughout the years. We hope another version of this anime may be made with that effort.

I've seen Voltes V Legacy before, I have a lot of constructive criticism but I waited for my Japanese friends to see the theater release in Japan before I say something to them. A lot of my Japanese friends watched Voltes V Legacy on October 18 and 19 and we have the same observation, please listen to these and take these seriously:
1. They fell asleep on drama parts. The original 90 episodes were cut down into 20 episodes for Japan release and they fell asleep already by just watching the movie release, what more if they watch the 90 episodes. They said the drama parts are so boring that they didn't know they fell asleep while watching
2. The pacing of the story is very slow, one of the reasons why they fell asleep and got bored to the core
3. Too much showing of pilots' faces and it's annoying, especially in mecha fights it distracts the momentum
4. Too much unnecessary talking than action and it wastes a lot of time.
5. They tried to see the subtitled version out of curiosity, and noticed the man to man fighting scenes are very weak and very slow, in short, it sucks! There's no "gigil" and "liksi" while fighting. Actors' movements are very slow and soft, bodies are stiff, soft stance/posture, very cringey 😬 not satisfying...You can really notice that Philippine shows and actors are not used to martial arts because of the actors' movements. Choreographies are not complicated, very simple moves (most Philippine shows are just punching and pure guns which is already an obsolete technique since in the 90s, it's so boring), based on what we see in this show, the actors need very serious and intense long training (because it looks like "kung papaano lang ang training, huwag lang hindi ma-train") and hire more strict professional martial arts instructors/directors (not puchu puchu fighting instructors) who never accept "pwede na" for fighting scene preparation, who will really stretch the actors' muscles until they perfected these scenes, much better if the actors are "legit" martial artists, not those typical mainstream actors who don't have "legit" long martial arts training experience and knows drama and comedy only (this type of genre requires physical fitness and agility to do their role properly, if no prior "legit" training experience, then they aren't qualified..please raise your standard when it comes to this aspect). And they said why Megumi (Jamie) used a gun while training, she's a ninja, it ruins the choreography of martial arts. Please stop this "pabebe" fighting scenes (sluggish and soft "maarte at lampa" movements) it's very annoying since encantadia days and it's alarming because they look "katawa-tawa" to majority of the audience..And please hire some fighting scene expert cameramen, they also noticed a lot of poor shots in this part..This is also for the other TV networks, wake up! It's 2024 already! You're all stuck in boring old-style action techniques! Please listen and accept constructive criticisms from the viewers and improve your weakness. We're talking about "quality" here. If other countries can upgrade and make their fighting scenes satisfying why can't you do it too? It's also a part of your job, right?
6. When they watched the subtitled version, they can't feel the fighting adrenaline because of the lame weapon shouts. The acting of the main pilots are weak, dry and cringey. And the acting of the female informer of Dr. Smith is cringey too, it looks like she's too conscious about the camera focusing on her while acting. Some of them pointed out that in this live action version, Steve is too serious and his gestures are arrogant. He needs to tone down the arrogant gestures and overseriousness, he looks DEPRESSED ALL THE TIME! (and some characters too), it's giving negative vibes. Please research about "tatemae" and "honne" to know why you can't see a negative comment about the acting for live-action of Steve.
7. Too much drama. This is one of the main reasons tons of them didn't like the show. Being overdramatic gives negative vibes and a total waste of time. People watch this show to relax and amuse themselves after a day of stressful work, not to feel depressed and heavy. A little drama is ok because the anime originally has some drama scenes, but it seems like the live action became overdramatic, it's boring and OA (most PH shows are super boring, overdramatic and depressive regardless of TV network and movies, it's annoying and so outdated, nothing's changed..That's why i prefer foreign shows, no dull moments).
8. Attention to detail. Some of them noticed some "sablay" in the show (e.g episode where after a man-to-man fight scene, all stood up like nothing happened and we did facepalm, some CG quality inconsistencies, Jaime's gun while training, actors' lame posture while on air when jumped from the cliff, etc)
9. I asked them if they liked the unnecessary fillers like the love triangle, non-canon additional characters, non-canon twists and this fanservice bed scene when they tried to watch the subtitled version. They immediately replied with emoji "🙅" and "never", they skipped and can't stand most of these parts. One of them even said that Mr. Tadao might get disappointed and angry if he sees these scenes. Too many unnecessary fillers can kill the good story of a show, especially the non-canon parts and ships because in this modern era, time is very important, people are busy, too much unnecessary parts is a waste of time, and adding non-canon romantic scenes and characters are annoying. The most notable one is the bed scene, they hate it! It's a very insensitive unnecessary non-canon scene (both cultural, religious beliefs, fans and minor audience), one of them gave -10,000 points to the show because of this, the other one said the price of the ticket to watch it was not worth it (he regretted watching it). Most shonen-mecha genre anime like this are not suitable for overdramatic soap opera format. Please research more.
If you want to make your show a true "masterpiece" and a high chance to be successful for a long time all over the world, please listen to the majority of the audience all over the world..what are they looking for?
A lot of live actions were produced all over the world but most of the viewers have the same complaint..It's about the "faithfulness" and "respect" of the live-action to the original source material and fans!
What the viewers really want and longing for?
10. The background music tones are redundant. It repeatedly uses the instrumental "Chichi wo Motomete" and "Voltes V no Uta" using different musical instruments which is "nakakaumay", no other music tones, it lacks creativity.
11. Some of the characters are out of character, they watched the anime before watching the live action adaptation to know if the production is faithful to the source material. Typical Japanese anime has these character behaviour pattern like tsundere, yandere, etc. Please research about these characters because some live-action characters of your show are misleading.
12. Voltes V no Uta's singing sounds soft. The accent sounds awful too which makes it cringey (i often mute the song while watching because of the accent), for me this is forgivable since the singer is not used to nihongo, but please next time be sensitive about the accent.
Please take these pointers to improve seriously. I thought I am the only one who noticed these poor parts but it seems that I am not the only one, and this time these criticisms came from foreign viewers. This is to avoid the same mistakes in the next projects. Each of these mistakes lowers the quality of a show. To be honest, most of them were disappointed after they watched your show, some of them felt deceived because they only saw some best CG parts (teasers and CG compilation) before but when they watched it fully especially the drama parts, it was very disappointing and didn't meet their expectation. Please listen to these VALID constructive criticisms and don't let this big mistake happen again or you may lose the interest and trust of a lot of viewers on your next projects.
The good parts according to them:
1. Some background music inserted from the original anime give the atmosphere of Showa era, which is nostalgic and brings back the good old days.
2. Commander Oka actor appearance is on point.
3. Mecha fights are good but need more improvements, the electromagnetic top is too slow. And the mecha fights are slower than Pacific Rim, but it's good, just make it a little faster.
4. Gattai (combining) scene is very good, just make it a little faster.
5. Mecha designs are good, infinity design Voltes V is aesthetic.
6. The CG is good, not the same level with Transformers but it's still good, it just need more polishing after Toei remastered it.
7. Playing "Voltes V no Uta" is good while combining.
Please listen to the viewers because the success of a show relies on the viewers, and international audience has higher purchasing power than local audience (especially first world countries). The higher the quality, the more audience will support it as long as it is faithful to the source material and satisfying no matter how short is the show.
What the viewers really want and longing for?
- To watch their favorite anime that comes to life WITHOUT BUTCHERING the story and appearance, gender, and personality of the characters, re-enact the scenarios from source material, maybe not exactly what happened but as close as possible to what happened without twisting the story or adding unnecessary/non-canon parts..That is what the MAJORITY of the original source material fans all over the world are looking for...What can you offer to the viewers that is your EDGE among other live-action shows? The most important "edge" the audience are looking for is the "faithfulness" to the source material which almost 99% of the live-action versions failed to offer. This is what the fans are LONGING for, which most live-action shows like this ignore and it's very disappointing.
10. The background music tones are redundant. It repeatedly uses the instrumental "Chichi wo Motomete" and "Voltes V no Uta" using different musical instruments which is "nakakaumay", no other music tones, it lacks creativity.

1. Acting - 0.5/10
reason: cringey and weak acting of some actors/actresses especially the main characters including the fight scene acting (c-movie grade of acting, though acting from indie films are way better than this show), overacting, underacting, inappropriate acting of right emotion in specific scenes (example: often frowning or too serious even the scene isn't depressive, please relax your actors' face and emotion when the scene is not depressive, overreacting is cringey), dialogs are too dry
2. OST cover - 3/10
reason: cringey accent, weak and dull execution
3. CGI - 7/10
reason: looks good on the screen but need more polishing
4. Screenwriting - 0.5/10
reason: too much non-canon parts, ships and characters, cringey dialogs, irritating bed scene, some illogical reasoning parts, poor scenarios, too much flirting, cliche boring soap opera format which is sickening, lack of research
5. Story - 0.5/10
reason: messed up story, too dramatic than the OG anime, too long drama, very flirty which is disappointing
6. Mecha fight scene - 7/10
reason: good but too slow
7. Human fight scene - 0.5/10
reason: very weak, very slow, very poor posture and choreography, lack of aggressiveness and quickness (facial expression is not enough, "quick sharp moves" really matters in this genre) bad camera angles, clumsy, very soft, disappointingly very amateurish. After more than a decade of producing fantasy and action TV shows the human fight scene never improved. Still terrible (sorry).
8. Directing - 2/10
reason: so-so and bad acting of some actors, very poor human fight scenes, poor pacing, bad camera angles, outdated style, not strict enough to make a good quality show, too many things to point out to be honest so please improve
9. Costume - 5/10
reason: some headgears look like toys, too plump body pads, some outfits look like cosplay
10. Background music - 4/10
reason: too much playing of instrumental of same OST , (except the fusion scene which is good)
11. Cinematography - 5/10
reason: poor camera angles and positions especially during human fight scenes and hitting
these are hard pill to swallow but this is the truth, CGI is the only saving grace of the show. No matter how many downvotes this comment might get, the number of downvotes can never change these FACTS. Mistakes are supposed to be corrected and not tolerated so I'm being honest, I've enumerated the mistakes, there are good sides too but outnumbered by poor sides. It looks like these Philippine entertainment staffs behind Philippine action/fantasy shows are very stubborn and don't listen to its audience, they keep on insisting and doing cringey old school methods (which is sickening), overextension of story and cheap acting despite the huge amount of valid constructive criticisms for how many years, no improvement at all except in CGI. CGI is not the only important element of good show, you don't pay attention to other very important aspects like acting, fight scenes, logic, quality story. Thinking of profit over quality, high ego over innovation (sorry, realtalk). Only gullible and low standard audience are fine with this set up. If you want to attract more audience (especially those with high purchasing power) prioritize QUALITY please?? Sorry i'm not an enabler.
