As I said in the title, I read the entire series. I watched this when it was shown on YouTube by alloy Entertainment as Webisodes. The same people who make this also make vampire diaries and pretty little liars. That's why I can't understand how the acting is so horrible. Maybe I'm just not into anymore because I'm not a teenager anymore but my biggest gripe with this was how much information didn't make it into the movie from the books. I feel like they picked the most boring scenes to film, as opposed to the real drama and action of the book. The guy who plays Thomas also plays Noel in pretty little liars. Despite playing pretty much the exact same role, he seems more comfortable in PLL as opposed to Private. I find that funny since they were made close to each other (timeline wise). I'd love to see someone redo this movie with a better budget and better actors. The script could use some finessing as well. Like I said, the main thing is how much they skipped over to keep it an hour and a half. If you didn't read the books, the movie would be a 1/10 because it doesn't make sense. With the context from the books, I'll give it a 3/10. Such a shame because I loved this series and wish it was closer to the books.
