Aaye Hum Baraati Baraat Leke is a love story based in the city of Love-Mathura. Mantu ("Nirahua") a boy from Mathura falls in love with a Punjabi girl Mahi (Jaz Sodhi). she is already engaged with a Punjabi Businessman Harman (Meet Arora).

The Film "Aaye Hum Barati Barat Leke" showcases the real beauty of unity in diversity in India. Despite differences in culture and tradition, religious faith, food habits etc. people of India are united together and have immense respect for people and their beliefs, staying in different regions. In this story, our male protagonist Mathura Prasad alias Mantu belongs to Uttar Pradesh whereas the female protagonist Mahi belongs to Punjab. Though the story revolves around only two states i.e. Uttar Pradesh and Punjab, and their rich culture and tradition, it portrays the whole of India. The Story not only encourages the joint family culture in India through the interesting cultures of our two families belonging to two different regions but also shows the beautiful titillating and emotional bond amongst family members. Encourages the women's empowerment by narrating the great achievements of Indian women. The Story conveys the message to have love and respect for customs and traditions, music and dance and the lifestyle of people belonging to India. It doesn't matter which part of the country we belong to but we relate ourselves to the story as it tries to unite the nation.—Pradeep Prabhakar
