Good supporting cast

Another below average Reel One Entertainment TV movie - watch it if you have nothing else. The main problem of this movie is the main actor - Ross Jirgl. I don't know if screenplay is to be blamed, but I'll blame it on director. Ross smiled most of the movie like he's Joker. Almost every line he spoke he smiled. It ruined most of the movie. I wanted to root for him because he is genuinely good guy, but you can't take anybody serious who constantly smile.

A. Yennie, M. Boyd and S. Glaner were good, except Ashlynn overplayed in Act III. Furthermore, her makeup was started to deteriorate from the middle of movie, and in Act III was just horrendous.

It was actually filmed in Georgia and locations were nice. That and supporting cast bailed out movie from the unwatchable/avoid category.

In the typical bad ROE tradition, trailer compress whole movie in 2:22 min so don't watch it if you plan to watch movie as is full of spoilers.

Couldn't finish it

Wow. How do these terrible movies keep getting greenlit? Are the viewers truly so desperate that they'll put up with anything?

How many times can a 'bad cell phone connection' or 'misunderstanding' happen in these things? And the hackneyed trope of the mixed race couple -- ugh. As a POC myself, I am so SICK of that. Not to mention, the bride and groom had about as much chemistry and believability as a madly-in-love couple as two strangers who just met. So stupid!

The concept is that an old family home must be sold. It supposedly has 15 bedrooms (and a teeny tiny kitchen - totally believable.) The current owner, a grandmother, is unable to keep up the house by herself. So her real estate agent grand-daughter and idiot, has listed it for sale. Along comes the handsome, pleasant and very fit Mr. Wallace, and the idiot grand-daughter immediately commences behaving like an idiot. No surprise there.

The writing was horrible. Horrible. (Surely there must be great scripts out there that are being passed over?) The acting from the two sisters was equally dire. And what was with the hair on the lead actress? Did they not have a hair and makeup artist on the film? Sadly, her hair was bedraggled and very unbecoming. Not her fault, but a distraction.

The Gram and Mr. Wallace were the better actors, but it didn't take much to attain that achievement. Mr. Wallace's brother was also a dreadful character. Seriously, who WRITES this garbage? It wouldn't have taken that much to make it somewhat believable. And to make the lead actress's character less of an idiot.

I made it to the 26 minute mark and realized I had better things to do. Like clean the bathroom.

Love a good RomCom

Lisa Bentron (A. Yennie) gives a stellar performance as the lead in this multi-faceted emotional romantic comedy. The cinematography is excellent. The settings work with the story. I was glad there were diverse characters in this movie. Great casting, kudos to Matthew Wallace (R. Jirgl) he's a joy to watch. Mary Bentron (S. Glaner) plays the gmom role well. Mavis Jacoby (T. Johnson) is a wonderful host. The slow moving romance is cute and unpredictable. I wasn't sure if the leads would get together or not. I personally love an uplifting, roller coaster, romantic comedy. We need more movies like this.
