Single mom Nikki (Lara Jean Chorostecki) is looking for a fresh start in a new town when she meets fellow single mom, Liz (Ipsita Paul). They immediately hit it off, with Liz giving Nikki a job at her boutique. Nikki aspires to be as self-sufficient as Liz and takes all her advice, especially when Liz warns Nikki about Gavin (Jamie Spilchuk), the local café shop owner whom Nikki has been dating. After Liz points out several questionable traits about Gavin, Nikki decides to take a pause on her relationship with him. But when Liz suddenly goes missing after a heated argument with her ex-husband, it's Gavin who helps Nikki try to find Liz. As Gavin supports Nikki through this ordeal, she becomes convinced Liz was wrong about Gavin. When Gavin starts to behave suspiciously, though, Nikki wonders if the man she's fallen for is the same person who took Liz. Will Nikki find Liz and her abductor before time runs out?

Typical poor quality movie. Much like, but worse than, a Lifetime movie. Boring. Another poorly produced Canadian film.

I hated this one

I am giving 2 stars for casting a POC (unfortunately styled as a poor man's Halle Berry). Otherwise I hated this movie so much I needed to write why.

Lead actress: Not very good and her character was so dumb and pathetic. The puppy dog eyes throughout , all while the guy is clearly crazy and obsessive was just too much.

Gavin: An even worse actor than the woman. Again, the character was written so poorly and OTT.

A lot of the characters' behavior made no sense, the ending was laughable. I kept watching just to see how bad it could be! A new low for Lifetime.

Creepy and quite good!!!

Single mom Nikki Hansen and her daughter move to a new town and she meets divorced mom Liz Cole who she ends up working for. Nikki also meets Gavin, a coffee shop owner, who also dated Liz but they broke up because he was too possessive. Suddenly, Gavin sets his sight on Nikki and it's all downhill after Liz turns up missing. What happened to her? Movie has a lot of twists and turns but a good Canadian cast supports the movie, Jamie Spilchuk especially good as the "baddie". Highly recommended!

You would not miss anything by skipping this one.

Overall everything is mediocre at best. From production, acting, storyline, etc.

Watch something better.

Jamie Spilchuk shines as Gavin

Jamie should be cast as the next James Bond! Canadian casting has its' advantages as we see fresh new faces! The plot was okay but the acting was believable!
