Typical Lifetime fare except for the fact that the actress cast as Hannah was nowhere near high school age. The movie is full of continuity flaws and the acting was on the weaker side. It has a problem knowing which plot to follow and ends up meandering all over the place, for the most part. Skip it.

WELL, THE MOVIE ITSELF WAS HARD TO BELIEVE....

This was the usual LMN feature with unbelievable plotlines and weird characters, all set in the LMN/Lifetime Universe.

To be honest, I didn't know who was doing what to whom until about a half hour before the end.... and the twist at the end was pretty good.

Keep in mind that in this Universe - -

1. Mother and daughter look like SISTERS (all the time).

2. High school teachers and guidance counselors can be classic TOOLS.

3. If you are an awkward new kid at school, you will be immediately befriended by another awkward kid.

I graduated High School in 1976, and back then we had nothing like this!

Watch and have a few laughs.

I think I know how the movie got it's title as nobody will believe that a 30yr old actress could be the mother of a 25+yr old.

When the other girl(cheerleader) is arguing with her stepfather or mom's BF and she deadpans "You aren't my father and you can't tell me what to do." lol. Just reciting the line with no emotion behind it. And said guy seemed straight out of acting school as well.

As others have mentioned, the daughter looks just as old as the mom, so it was hard to really go with the premise.

Not one of Lifetime's better movies, for sure.

Dumb movie.

Irritating lead. She laughs and smiles all of the time and can't even have a conversation . She seems quite weird.

Also she is the same age as her mom?

She's really creepy looking. Have to agree with another reviewer. There were so many continuation errors.

Also did they not have any skirts in wardrobe that fit her? Would you really got to school in mini skirts.

And finally Hannah is supposed to be a pianist. She can't play the piano!

It's a pretty good movie. But I noticed a blooper. When she seb a pic she had sunglasses on but when he looked at the pic she had no glasses on. Gotta pay attention to details.
