Red Hill Creative is stepping up to bat with “Strikers,” a new cricket-centered comedy series starring “Queer Eye” personality Bobby Berk and creator-actor Dana Abraham. The six-episode, half-hour series is set to begin production in summer 2025.
The indie project follows Amar Farooqi (Abraham), a former MLB pitcher whose career-ending injury leads him back to his South Asian roots via the cricket field. Exclusive: Marvin Jones III (Halo), Michael Xavier (Wild Cards) and Dominic Burgess (Palm Royale) have joined the cast of Prime Video‘s graphic novel series, Criminal, in recurring roles. They join the previously announced leads: Charlie Hunnam, Adria Arjona, Richard Jenkins, Kadeem Hardison and Logan Browning.
Criminal is an interlocking universe of crime stories based on the multi-Eisner Award-winning graphic novel series created by Brubaker and Sean Phillips.
