The Phantom Warrior

Of course I had never heard about this 2024 movie titled "The Phantom Warrior", from writer and director Savvas D. Michael, prior to stumbling upon it by random chance and opting to give the movie a fair chance without knowing anything about it.

The storyline in the movie wasn't exactly grand. You're not in for anything extraordinary or memorable here. And truth be told, I found it a struggle to sit through.

Oddly enough, then a movie like this actually had the likes of Dean Cain and Steven Berkoff on the cast list. That was quite a surprise. I will say that the acting performances in the movie weren't actually all that bad, despite the storyline and script being utter rubbish.

Visually then the movie was not great. The special effects were pretty amateurish and didn't really impress me in any way.

This is definitely not a movie that I would recommend you to rush out and get to watch. Nor is it a movie that I will ever sit down and watch a second time.

My rating of writer and director Savvas D. Michael's movie lands on a generous three out of ten stars.

Pretty much a slasher/Devil worship flick, second rate acting, plot, effects are not the greatest, lots of killing, a bit of gore, sexual connotations, a few bad words, costumes remind me of a 1950's sci-fi that was really bad. If you enjoy wasting your time as I did watching this then go for it. I think it could have been a lot better with better dialog, costumes effects and story. But oh well they just didn't make it there. There should be a rule that materials, actors and time should not be wasted unless the story is at least worth reading in a novel. I guess some movies get made up on the spot. Enjoy at your own risk...
