Watched this on a flight recently not having heard of it before, I thought it was really really good. The three central characters (girls) put in excellent performances, raw and energetic, it's difficult to pick a stand out as they each were excellent in different ways - Djeneba the tomboy whereas Zineb is somewhat more delicate and tender natured. It touches a lot on themes of living in France in terms of immigration and racism mixed with youth culture and social media. Anyway enough said, make sure to check it out, very much a rough diamond, glad I got to see it and looking forward to similar offerings from French and European cinema. Enjoy.

First time I see a movie touch such sensitive topics without being overwhelmed and left feeling you are in a lecture. I always wonder how women think because I know male female points of view are absolutely different and each has valid point, the movie somehow touches that with a little female biased but with a valid real life situations. For me the most interesting point was the father daughter relationship. I don't know much about french actors but I am sure the French cinema won three amazing actors and I hope to see them more in the future. Amazing work from the director to send many messages and highlight different topics which I think some might be personal experiences.
