Jordan Peele’s ‘Us’ Is Leaving Streaming Soon in America
Image
Jordan Peele’s Us (2019), headlined by Black Panther star Lupita Nyong’o is all set to exit Netflix U.S. on September 1, 2025. For the folks who’ve been hearing about it as the best post-Hereditaryhorror available to stream, this would be your cue as the streaming window is closing.

The film holds a 93% critics' score on Rotten Tomatoes and delivered a rare one-two punch for original horror: $255M+ worldwide on a modest $20 million budget, and a breakout lead performance by Nyong'o as Adelaide Wilson and her terrifying double Red that critics still cite as a genre benchmark. While Hereditary shook audiences in 2018, Us is the next best thing for Netflix subscribers and brings with it that layered, high-concept terror. And where Ari Aster’s work leaned into supernatural dread, Peele weaponizes doppelgängers and class allegory in Us that forces viewers to confront the monsters within.

Plus, just like Aster’s Hereditary or Midsommar,...

‘The Match’ Netflix Review: This Korean Movie Is Not For The Non-Go Fans
Image
Imagine a 19*19 wooden board in front of you. There are black rounded stones and white rounded stones; you choose one. You and your opponent then place your stones on the board until it’s all filled up and one of you has more territory than the other. I suppose this is the basic idea of the game “Go,” which I’ve learned in my nearly two hours watching the South Korean drama film The Match. The film tells the story of two legendary champions, pupil and master, Lee Chang-Ho and Cho Hoon-Hyun. The film begins with Cho returning home as the nation’s pride after defeating the world champion in a tournament in Singapore. A life-altering moment for him and for the game of “Baduk” in South Korea. Soon, Cho meets a young boy named Lee Chang-Ho. Seeing his deep interest in the strategic game and his calculative mind, Cho...

But Lee Chang-Ho is a young boy with attitude and plays a chaotic game. He’s simply dying to play the game, a passionate young man with no real direction, I suppose. When Cho meets Chang-Ho, the boy wants to keep playing the game. He doesn’t ask to be his apprentice,...

Image
Warner Bros. Discovery has abandoned a plan to charge an additional fee for Max’s Bleacher Report (B/R) Sports add-on, at least in the short term.

But the paid version of the offering was delayed by Max after it said it was finalizing some “tech integrations that will ensure a more seamless customer experience with our platform partners.”

“This path will not be pursued for now,” Wbd said in an update on Wednesday.

Additionally, the streamer will no longer offer B/R Sports and CNN Max in its Basic With Ads tier starting March 30.

“Over the last year plus, we had the opportunity to assess how users engage with sports and news on Max, and we’ve been actively involved in exploring...
