The two actresses in this were pretty bad (Krista Allen was great on DAYS and she's not bad in most of her Lifetime movies) Rib was a total ham but you expect it of the villain. The storyline wasn't anything new but Lifetime needs to step it up . Woman totally smitten by a man who isn't all he seems. Doesn't believe her kid who has discovered his unsavory nature. You know this story but we excuse the predictability....sometimes. If we can't get rid of this story template then Lifetime needs to come up with more creative ways to get mature women who should know better to fall for conmen after two weeks. There's another movie where a mom with a college bound daughter turns over her finances to her brand spanking new husband and he wipes out everything. Does it happen in real life? Sure, but sitting through this scenario in these movies gets tedious.
Some scenes were hard to sit through and the story was just so ridiculous that I can't believe I finished it. Vivica had the most natural acting as did the boyfriend's dad. Jessica for all of her caring about her mom was quite obnoxious.
This isn't exclusive to the "Wrong" movies, but I absolutely hate how often the villains get away in Lifetime movies these days. In this one, old boy got shot in the leg, managed to get away and didn't even leave a trail of blood! In spite of accepting that it's a campy movie, that just really ruined it. It was great back in the old Hollywood days where those who commit crimes had to be punished. None of Lifetime's villains are Hannibal Lector or Michael Myers so enough of this get off scot free trope. There's even a movie where a guy is electrocuted in a bathtub and he rises to keep killing.
There are much worse movies on the network so this is not a terrible way to spend two hours or have as background noise but there are better "Wrong" films in this franchise.
P. S. This house is so excessive, but I guess it's supposed to be a sign that Mom is rich. But it looks quite empty. I'm sure in reality, the walls are bare and there's hardly any furniture because Lifetime reuses sets and doesn't need to spend a lot of time redecorating. But it hardly looks lived in. The boyfriend's home was the same way.

If you're watching this movie expecting something different from your standard LMN plot, you need to learn more about LMN movies and Vivica A Fox's 'Wrong' movies in particular. I'd swear there's another LMN movie with this exact same plot (hidden identity discovered by the damsel in distress).
If you're ok with all of the above, then this one isn't bad. I'll give it a 7 mainly because of Anna Marie Dobbins. She does an excellent job here and is becoming an LMN movie regular. Let's hope we see her in more of the same and for her to move on to bigger and brighter roles.

Single parent mother meets up with single man and he moves in - the interesting plot point here (to me, at least) is that mother and boyfriend are the SAME AGE.
My observations:
1. Rib Hillis just does not come across as a bad guy - he should be playing a neighbor, friend, or the like.
2. The daughter comes across as a complete TOOL.
3. Mother admittedly is desperate for some action with her boyfriend.
4. Eric Robert's character is played as if he's an old coot. Eric is my age (does that mean I'm a coot as well?)
5. Ending is kinda strange - I want Vivica as a bodyguard.
Watch this with a sense of humor and some drinks.

The teenager character was horrible... just atrocious acting all around wow. The teen was awful her eyes just big all the time no expression. Weird plot with weird ending just stupid.
No suspense
No thrill for a thriller
Not scary
No graphics
It's like a G rated kids mystery movie but not as good.
Storyline was weak Boring.
Bad acting by the female daughter.
Villain was good looking so watched to the end.

- PatzerWhen Jessica and her boyfriend go to leave her house to see the private investigator, they walk down a flight of steps to where the guys are playing basketball. In the next scene, they are talking with the investigator. But when they left her house after joining in the basketball game, they walked back up the same set of stairs they originally came down.
