The childhood training scenes are the only ones that are interesting & the foundation of the entire film and also the final twist was somewhat convincing enough, other than that, there was nothing notable. It was in fact a disappointment as it comes from a director who writes the fast screenplay. The 2 main characters being played by the prominent actors in one thing that lifts the movie, the heroine role just doesn't fit into the arena at all as usual like most of the Tamil films.

One time watchable action drama. The idea and mind game is good but it was over done towards climax... Last 20 minutes cant bear the flow.... If they made it with bit more action and reduce the sentiment feud, it would be more entertaining one....

With an wonderful cast, the movie is okayish in many places and awesome in some places. Romantic portions seems forced. It wouldn't have made a difference without the love portions (except for the reason behind the "tum tum" song and engagement).

The concept behind the movie is interesting (though it has already been tried in different tamil movies in different forms, ex: Ullasam, En Swasa Kaatrae). If properly executed, this could have been a racy thriller but we were left with a mildly entertaining Enemy.

This is an interesting movie..I have no words for it..this is such a great movie I recommend everyone to watch it..better than recent releases. Mrinalini cute acting.

Vishal acting is classy and dancing is fantastic.. Songs are very good.. music director thaman did a very nice work..After a long time a movie which can be watched with family came..

The concept of their childhood were really interesting and this took the audience and first half was quiet okay..but major problem of this film is the ending...they could elaborate somemore thing and finish the film beautifully.. because of the rubbish ending value of movie gone down.

Most illogical movie I have ever watched!! Makes no sense at all, not sure what the director was smoking Don't waste you time, there are better ways to utilise your precious time.

Just a Hype, not excellent movie, just a one time watcher.

Vishal is good, Story also starts well, but does not carry the same weightage till end. Over all one time watch for Arya & Vishal fans.

I think Director Anand Shankar is one of the most promising directors of Tamil cinema. He always brings excellent stories to the table and tries to think out of the box which should be appreciated. Having said that, he has struggled with his overall execution mainly by adding unnecessary scenes that ruin the pace.

Just like NOTA, Enemy is unfortunately another victim to this drawback. The movie was really interesting with its plot, action sequences, performances by Vishal and Arya but is once again letdown by scenes that keep on dragging. The love angle for this film was not at all needed at all. There were also some cinematic liberties I felt that made for unrealistic plot devices.

Overall I think the movie was a unique interesting attempt at an action thriller but Shankar still needs to work on his overall direction to deliver with a crisp finished product. Had he smoothed out the edges and got rid of the unnecessary songs and love scenes, I think the film easily could have been another Thupaaki like movie.

The plot of the film is so good. It starts with the childhood life of the two main characters. The childhood ego clashes were perfectly shown. But the writing could be even better, gripping. The romance sequences and songs are useless scenes. It delivers nothing. Cinematography and editing was well made and grippy. The climax action sequence was well made.

Lengthy . Movie had good potential but , it failed to be good due to too many unwanted scenes . I really liked Vishal ( protagonist ) and Arya's ( antagonist ) performance , their characterisation in the movie was also well designed . Background music was great support to the movie , well composed by Sam CS . Execept " Tum Tum " other songs were average . Main drawback of the movie many unwanted sequence , romance part and some flash back part in 2nd half really spoiled the flow of movie . If you really want to enjoy this movie , you should remove your brain before watching it , too many plot holes and flaws . Some part of the story were just forced . Overall a average movie , a thriller movie that fails to be gripping .

I don't know from where to start my review I will discuss only 3 thing of the movie 1st music sam.c and thaman played a fantastic music and highlighted the background music according to the scenes and songs of the movie 2nd. Action part director anand shanker is managed very well the story, screenplay, and direction 3rd casting. Director did a good job in selecting the visha Gary , Arya garu , as a leading role Mrinalini Ravi garu also played shown her best on the screen Thank you the production company vvf for such a wonderful movie we are expecting more and more from you.

Special credits to BGMs. Thaman and Sam rocking the screens and adds intense flavours to the storyline.

Climax too lengthy fights could have been reconsidered. Heroine portions not so defined / scripted. Thambi ramaiah as usual juatified his role as a supporting character role and adding humour to the thrier script.

It's an very good movie with some commercial elements but the first half was good and training scenes are very accurate. It slowing picked up when introducing arya. The action scenes were awesome Anand Shankar nailed it. And the bgm by Sam. C. S was outstanding.

But the second half was little bit lagging and the climax was a predictable climax. But it is a one time watchable movie.

The first half was good but 2nd half was choppy and unwanted scenes were there too but climax was good.

The actors did a good job but the 2nd was the let down with the emotional scenes and all whoch were not appealing. Its better if they hsd avoided the revenge plot.

Anand Shankar's tricky and intelligent screenplay keeps u glued until the end,Bgm and camera work are the positives ....Arya and Vishal play safe overall it's a typical director's that deserves clean through entertainer.

The story of the film is not so good. Many kinds of unrealistic scenes are shown in the movie. The screenplay is not very good. All in all, this is a disappointing movie. A lot can be said to be just a waste of time.

It's a best movie to watch it along with family. Watched it 2 or more times and Never got bored .songs and dance outstanding. Tamil movies goes to world level.

It is a good action movie but it has poor and weakest love story i have ever seen, story starts with wonderful childhood story line , and training scenes. As most of people says that was the only good thing in this film. Because creator took a poor attempt to infuse a love story.

They don't provide any details to audience about Rajiv and Anisha 's love story or. Chozhan & Ashvitha 's love story .

It looks like they put that part as requirement for make longer story. Else they have to find other way to make famous "Tum Tum" song .

This soul less love story make whole story incomplete . After all love don't fall from sky and it is not a compulsory to make complete story.
