It's a time pass series. Can be watched once.. Characters are good.. Seems whole series has been casted in a resort. :)

Black Widows' web series opens its layers. Mystery and adventure are not the main focus of the story. Here the characters of the story laugh at themselves. They curse themselves and the audience neither sympathizes nor hates them. This is a real dark comedy.

The hard work of ZEE5's creative team is evident in the indigenous adaptation of this foreign series. The lanes, turns and intersections through which the story has been started at a very enthralling location are the real joy of the story.

This story of 12 episodes of about half an hour, where it stops, tells that its second season must also be made.

More characters continue to come in the story one by one and continue to expand the story.

Mona Singh is quite junky as Veera. She plays the role of a wife who is scared after the death of her husband but also works wisely with her. Swastika Mukherjee as Lalit's wife is also strongly influenced by her performance.

There is more stagnation in her acting. Shamita Shetty is the wife of Nilesh. Her character in the form of poetry is slightly different from the rest.

We all know that Sharad Kelkar always impresses with his performance. His role as Jatin in the ZEE5 Black Widows web series is quite impressive. His facial expression and dialogue delivery have always been impressive.

Rayama Sen's elusive character gives a balanced flow to the series' story. By the way, Parambrata Chattopadhyay is also no less in terms of influencing. As far as Shruti Vyas is concerned, she is also looking very good as a Lady Inspector. Aamir Ali and Nikhil Bambari also influence.

Everyone Act fearlessly except Shamita shetty, she have been done super over acting. She is the most annoying actresses. She just wreck the series. If you can tolerate Shamita then go ahead and watch this series, if you can't, skip it.

Three women with distinctively different personalities and one smart poilce officer and one not so dead husband. A Perfect cocktail for chaos, Entertainment and action. Story keeps you hooked on as there are secrets of each characters that are revealed as the story progresses. Best thing about the series is it doesn't follow the path of traditional crime drama as it has it's own quirks and thrills that makes it a worth of watch..... All the cast members are superb.... But Swastika Mukherjee's Jayati stands out.... She is effortless in her portrayal and makes you feel for the character that she plays.... Music is big plus for the series as it matches the tone of the series.... Overall this one will surely be one of the best series to come out This Year

The story of the show is a well woven pattern of plots unfolding in the most unexpected of ways. The three 'partners in crime' are relatable; your heart goes out to them at time, at others you feel like shaking them to make them see the mistakes they are making - they are human as human gets! They are beautifully flawed and trying to cope with their lives as best as they can. It's a daring mix of characters who, even in some serious situations don't take themselves too seriously. The casting couldn't have been better and I don't think I've ever liked Shamita Shetty more than as Kavita. She does all the wrong things but you see where she is coming from and your heart goes out to her. Mona is perfection! Swastika is a treasure! And Sharad is as always, a master performer.

While the story is captivating, the over all mise-en-scène is remarkable too. The visuals aren't trying too hard to stand out and messing things up. There is no excessive bad language and bloody massacres just because this is digital. Also, the actors comfortably slip into speaking an occassional line in English without it sticking out like a sore thumb. The music is delightful and goes well with the mood of the show.

Hope there's a second season coming soon!

Women power, exciting twists and turns keeps one gripped to the series. Very nicely shot as well and great locales ...

Nice Series all Act pretty well, but Why Shamita....? She still don't Learn How to Act!!!! How long she has been Interoduce in Mohabtein!!!! Cast Director or Director whats wrong with him.... I mean didn't you found Anyone Else?

I can't believe the performances of the cast, some old faces with fresh talent.

1. THE BEST ACTOR FEMALE AWARD GOES TO ................................ THE STAR OF THE SERIES IS SWASTIKA MUKHERJEE (JAYATI), GREAT ACTING. 2. THE WORST ACTING BY SHAMITA SHETTY. YOU KNOW WHY SHE IS NOT SEEN IN ANY MOVIES OR TV OR SERIES. SHE DIDNT LEARN IN SO MANY YEARS. 3. WE WOULD LIKE TO SEE MORE OF SHARAD KELKAR, VERY PROMISING. WE LOVE HIM. HIS ACTING IS GOOD. 4. MONA SINGH IS THE SAME MONA SINGH, NOTHING NEW.

5. THE STORY IS GOOD BUT THE DIRECTION KEEPS IT LOW AT SO MANY STAGES. DIRECTION IS RUINING THE ACTING AND THE PLOT. HAD IT BEEN IN GOOD DIRECTION IT WOULD HAVE BEEN A VERY GOOD SERIES. IT IS AN OPPRTUNITY WASTED.

Black Widows sets the level too high for every other series out there. It is amazing!

A paced plot that keeps you intrigued all the way through, right from the first episode.

I am so glad I decided to watch this series. My weekend couldn't have been better.

Look at individual episode ratings and you will know that this 7 star rating is rated by the illiterates. I am all for Zee but this series is pathetic in every stage. There is nothing that I liked here.

Am not exaggerating with my 1 star. The writing is like some kid wrote it. The dialogues are cringy while the attitude of the characters are like they are in a comic series. The damsel in distress act by Shamita, the female cop's idiotic ways, the husband characters treating wives like they are Muslims. Even those good actors in this series are pathetic. The direction too is so childlike. I had to abandon the series mid way. Not worth my time.

The show has an ensemble cast, a gripping plot, and offers lots of thrilling moments.

The story was anything but thriller. There was nothing to look forward to as the story progressed past 3-4 episodes. Comedy was too lame. To drag the story, there would be Balaji Telefilms type drama where everyone would start keeping secrets without any reason to stretch the story. Actors delivered fair performance with the limitations of the story; Swastika M and Sharad K were good, Mona S and Parambrata was average, however wondering how did the writer come up with such awful character as Shamita S' role. At the end of the series, I was left wondering if this is the same story that has had 6-7 remakes in as many different languages or the hindi adaption and tweak in the story made this so ordinary.

The plot looks engaging but the characters spoil it... shamita shetty is not aware its not TikTok, her acting looks like making fun TikTok videos... every bit there is an attempt to add fun factor, why? The policemen are shown stupid all the time, and the lady is eating all the time, shamita is dieting all the time, and whenever the ladies meet they are drinking all the time... Big bunglows with no security, vilas with no guards, maids... director does not believe in sanity... never have the police acted as a policeman.. let go even after a warrant is signed, senior never questions an update.. police arrives for investigation at midnight, asks 1 question and leave.. i can keep going... its a Pathetic series.. how in earth its 8.3/10?

Black Widows is a licensed remake of an originally Finnish television series of 2014, in which 3 women plan and execute the murder of their abusive husbands by blowing up a boat during a holiday. It's a remote location, clues are difficult to find in the lake, but only two bodies are found, and the third remains untraceable. The police investigators are certain that the women have committed the crime as they find the remains of a bomb, but are unable to pin them down.

In the meanwhile the three friends, Veera (Mona Singh), Jayati (Swastika Mukherjee) and Kavita (Shamita Shetty) try to bring their respective lives back on track, but remain constantly egged by police inspectors Pankaj Mishra (Parambrata Chatterjee) and Rinku (Shruti Vyas). More troubles for the three women are in store as Veera's husband Jatin's partner comes sniffing for some unaccounted for money, and worse still, when Jatin (Sharad Kelkar) comes back from the dead.

Things get more complicated when they discover that there's a greater plot playing out as they are hunted down by a pharma giant's owner with some sinister motive. Will the black widows overcome their troubles, looming threats, and manage to evade being arrested by police for a crime they don't regret having committed is the crux of the series directed by Birsa Dasgupta.

Black Widows is a combination of drama, thriller, comedy and action, but the package suffers from an uneven pace and too many red herrings being thrown in for distraction that disallow a steady narrative. Mona Singh and Swastika Mukherjee have strong roles and rise above the ordinary, and Shamita Shetty is delightful as the dimwit, bumbling Kavita. Parambrata is typecast as the investigating officer quite like in Kahaani, but is likeable. Raima Sen oozes sophistication, Sharad Kelkar too is impressive. The climax leaves ample scope for continuation as almost everything is left to imagination.

The story is senseless and illogical. The actors are big but acting is poor. Not a single role got a justice in the story. All characters in the webseries are pathetic. Predictable story with no serious & real acting. The acting of all characters looks fake. Worst story ever. Full waste of time. Not recommended don't watch.

Amazing! I was eagerly waiting for Black Widows since the time I watched the trailer.

It is an almost perfect plan, till Pankaj Mishra assigned to the case, realizes there is more to it than met the eye.
