It wasn't awful as Coop does begin to win more and more against the Kay but I don't know, I never got into it. The animation styles' interesting and the episodes are ok. It's amazing what Coop does to match wits with his foe while also trying to expose the truth. If you have kids I think they'll like it fine. It's not bad as it's creative, just not my cup of tea.

It's been years since I've watched this show, but from what I remember, each episode was really fun. Millie can go unalive her self though. Little brat.

"Kid vs. Kat" is one of the good cartoons I've ever seen. This is an underrated series with redeeming qualities. The story of a youngster who wants to uncover an extraterrestrial threat but no one believes him feels like a copycat of "Invader Zim."

I remember watching this show as a kid and I really enjoyed it and loved it. I don't know I would enjoy as much because now I'm much older. But it's funny,vibrant and each episode is unique and different and has pretty good animation with great voice acting

Overall an enjoyable tv series for a kid and people who like kid's shows

You there, ignore the negative reviews below. This cartoon is very good that I watch a lot when I was about 8 years old. The plot is pretty generic, but, I get used to it. The plot is very funny, not very serious and very funny. The animation is comfortable. So I recommend you watch and not be reading negative reviews that make you not watch this because they are their opinions, so we have to respect the opinions of others

OK, Kid vs. Kat was a cartoon who disappoint me, yeah this show is annoying and lame, the show consist in the family Burtonburger, Coop is the principal character versus to alien cat in the space who wants to conquer the world but he prefer to live with the family, because he like to torture the kid or vice versa.

The Animation was pretty OK The Art was mediocre Coop is character who sacrifice his life with his friend Dennis Lawrence to defend the world of Mr Kat, his character is very annoying but Millie is worse, the father Burt is OK but very blind on this situation.

The plot could get repetitive, and it's very uncreative because this show reminds me of Invader Zim, well this show could be a guilty pleasure

I had to write this review! I love this show! I've been waiting for a good cartoon since Carl 2 (Carl Squared) & George of the Jungle stopped showing new episodes. The action is dynamic between Coop (a young & determined boy) & Kat (is he a cat?) in this series. Old Lady, uh,...Mrs. Munson is a menacing hoot as is her hilariously drawn dog, Growler. Anyone who's had a cat can understand Mr.Kat's obsession with Fishy Frisky Bits. Coop's kind single father, his self-absorbed sister (Millie), and best friend (Dennis), and "love interest" Phoebe (love the way she says Coop) are fun peripheral characters as well. The show is fresh and original with lots of funny situations and quirky animation at break-neck speed. Even the titles have thought put into them. I can't wait for season 2 and I haven't even finished season 1 yet! I've watched nearly the whole 1st season of Kid Vs Kat & the best episode by far (so far) is Trespassers Will Be Persecuted. My wife & I laughed a lot and loudly. Thank you everyone working on Kid Vs Kat for making this show such a great comedic joy! You have a fan for life! - David

The worst show from Jetix since 2008 Coop gets blamed by this horrible pet called Mr Kat who is nothing but a troublesome animal and Millie is an annoying spoiled brat just. Thank god this show got cancelled in june 4th 2011 and got taken off the air in 2014. This show feels nothing but a copy of Invader Zim, his father Burt also grounds Coop for dumb reasons, he also acts like Stephen Stotch (South Park) and his design looks like a rejected version of Lawrence Fletcher (Phineas And Ferb), also Mr Kat is just a generic villain who wants to take over the world, the only characters I like from this show are Coop, Dennis and Fiona and also Millie is a spoiled brat that makes Darla Dimple (Cat's Don't Dance) and Perfect Peter (Horrid Henry) look like saints.

As a kid until now, Kid vs. Kat is the cartoon that annoys me most. The show is basically about a boy named Coop whose normal life is turned upside-down when his spoiled little sister Millie brings home a stray cat that turns out to be an evil alien planning to steal cat food and take over the world. Coop tries to foil Kat's evil schemes and warn everyone about his true identity. Unfortunately, only his friends and his grandparents believe him while the rest are oblivious, even when Kat does something heinous a few feet away from them and they're actually looking at his direction.

Besides the fact that Kid vs. Kat feels like a rip-off of other cartoons, the main problem with it really is its characterization. With the exception of Coop, his grandparents, and his few friends, the rest of the characters are incredibly annoying and poorly-written. Burt is a fun-loving but oblivious father who blames and punishes Coop for almost everything Kat does; Millie is a spoiled and rotten little sister who is mean to Coop and always defends Kat (even when she does find out his true identity); Lorne, Harley, and their mother are generic bullies who kill the mood and act like uncivilized, foolish jerks most of the time; Phoebe is a creepy stalker to Coop and a bully to any girl who gets near him; Old Lady Munson is an abusive neighbor who blames and torments Coop for everything Kat does and is somehow an immortal who is only nice to Millie; Kat is an incompetent, annoying villain who takes advantage of Coop's life and only manages to get away with his mistakes due to how oblivious and dumb most of the characters are and his girlfriend is a selfish, dramatic, and cringeworthy alien who really likes being an obnoxious jerk to Coop. Some episodes even attempt to make us support Kat, since Coop usually thinks he's trying to take over the world, but because of all the evil things he did in previous episodes and the fact that he is capable of doing such things, it's actually understandable why Coop would think that way; anybody would have done it. Plus, Kat's main goal is to take over the world (as revealed in some episodes) so Coop is not wrong about his main purpose on Earth. The reason why Kat is shown stealing cat food a number of times is to keep his species alive while struggling to take over the world since the planet his race took over before is dying and they need supplies to avoid extinction (indirectly revealed in the season 2 finale).

Most of the characters in this cartoon are infuriatingly blind and only exist to treat Coop unfairly, making Kid vs. Kat a cartoon that's effortlessly mean-spirited and irritating. I don't like how most of this show's humor involves pain, misunderstandings, and Coop getting blamed for all the bad things Kat does. The animation is also unimpressive as the color palette looks very dull and a lot of the character designs look cheap and unoriginal. Kid vs. Kat is not even dumb fun like some cartoons. It's literally cruelty in the form of a cartoon. It finds entertainment through being painfully mean-spirited, which to me is even worse than cartoons that rely of foolishness for fun. It doesn't even execute its kind of premise well at all so I can't really find it enjoyable. Plus, the season 2 finale is one of the worst I have ever seen as it forces Coop's life to be even more unfair than before.

Kid versus Kat just makes me sick. And it's not even because it's a "Tom and Jerry ripoff" or an "Invader Zim ripoff". There are different reasons I found this show so contemptible.

There are meanspirited characters galore, with the exceptions of Coop, Dennis, Fiona, and probably Fiona.

Millie is such a crybaby who complains all the time when she doesn't get what she wants.

Mr. Kat is almost always getting the victory,

Burt is a downright idiot, and not a likable idiot at that.

There are many shows that make me sick, Kid versus Kat, or one of those shows. And as for Old Lady Munson, don't even start me on her!

This animated series for me is one of the best I have seen, which I must admit was a bit of a copy of invader zim, but it does not mean that the series would not have its own essence.

The characters cooper (a boy who takes risks to discover the truth about mr. Cat) this very witty, funny character takes a lot of risks to discover the truth and plans about mr. Cat that with the help of his best friend Dennis, his little sister millie is very fond of Mr. Cat but it can bother you since this character is very irritating but he is also pampered by his father burt burtonburger and the neighbor mrs munson In conclusion: This series has both comic and entertaining essence.

But its ending is a bit disappointing and I think for that reason some have hated it but for a simple ending it cannot take away how good that series was, I highly recommend it to children and I know it will entertain them Greetings from Peru.

This show is one of the best series I've ever seen in my life! I don't ever want it to end. The quality storyline of Coop's family adopting a hairless cat who turns out to be an alien is hilarious. With Coop and his best friend, Dennis, the only ones who know Kat is an alien brings a ton of adventure, mishap, endeavors and catastrophes to a thrilling new level. And it's surprising when Coop's new girlfriend even knows the wisenheimer's secret. It's funny how Coop is somehow always blamed for their messes and Kat just acts all cute and cuddly in the end. It's very amusing. There are still a ton of ideas for Kid vs. Kat just waiting to be written, and I believe that some day, some how Kid vs. Kat will be one of the best acclaimed television series there is to watch on Canadian television. So if this series ends, I don't mind it, but at least it ended with a happy turn of events. I'll always love it FOREVER! =D

I don't know why the series is so hated. The truth is that it's very good. The animation can be considered a bit weak, even for a Canadian series, but it is very good, with good characters, very annoying characters, or very stupid characters.

Even Co-op friends are sometimes very annoying or very unpleasant, and other times it's the other way around.

Back in late May this year, I decided to give this show a watch for the first time, and tbh, I really enjoyed it. Almost every episode of this show is really enjoyable and fun to watch, and the characters make it a great experience for this show as well.

Some episodes/segments do range from mediocre to terrible, like "Bringin' The Heat" and "One Big Happy Family", but other than that, this show has some really great episodes as well, like "Rat-a-Phooey" and "Fangs for the Memories", which are some of my personal favorites.

Most of the characters are really enjoyable, like Coop, Fiona, Mr. Kat and Dennis. The character I consider to be the best and is my absolute favorite is Burt. Honestly, I don't get the hate for him. People always say that he has "no personality", "is extremely unlikable" and "is a bad father to Coop", where that isn't really the case. He's a very optimistic and happy-go-lucky character and his personality brings something to the table for this show, which doesn't make him unlikable at all. He is a good father and does care for Coop and loves him very much. He's just gaslighted by Kat which makes him don't believe in Coop and the truth of Kat overall. There was one episode where he finally knows the truth about Kat but it was only in Coop's memory, which was an unfortunate case. There were some episodes where he wasn't fair to Coop and grounds him for things he didn't do, which again, he's gaslighted by Kat into doing so. He often spoils Millie but that really isn't his fault. Millie manipulates him into getting her whatever she wants and which she always gets her way unlike Coop, by screaming so loudly to where Burt gives into her brattiness. Other than that, he's a great character and he's the reason why I really got into this show.

Some characters like Millie and Old Lady Munson do leave a bad taste in my mouth and are extremely unlikable. Millie is a spoiled brat and always manipulates her father into getting what she wants, and is a terrible sister to Coop as she always calls him a "stinky brother" and treats him poorly. Old Lady Munson is the worst character on the show. She is really unlikable in every episode and treats everyone in Bootsville like they're trash, except for Millie, which makes her even more unlikable. These two characters sometimes make it hard to watch the show but it's nothing too major.

Overall, this show is really great and is nostalgic to a lot of people. I wish this show would come back and fixed that ending in the Season 2 finale where it resets everything and its status quo. But maybe someday that wish will happen and we'll see these awesome characters again.

My rating: 10/10 (Would recommend)
