I loved this second installment in the Stalker series. The movie was pretty good but this was excellent. Definitely better than the first one in all the ways that count. The story was very thrilling. The two detectives were excellent. Honestly, all of the actors did a great job. I loved the comedic elements, the cinematography. I especially liked the dream sequence and the unhinged acting by Sean Nugent. I appreciated that in order to keep the story grounded they introduced the elements of PTSD that linked the first and second films. If you want to enjoy a thrilling good time check this little jewel out.
Don't ask me why, but I decided to watch part 2 before I had seen part 1. There was a bit of confusion as I didn't completely know the characters back stories, but don't worry, director Michelle Lewis did an excellent job with unfolding the story, so for those who happen to be in the same boat as me you are good.
The film opens in a dark swampy lake with a hand darting out of the water. I can assume this is how the Stalker "died" in the first film. There is no messing around as we are immediately thrust into the story. At less than an hour this film is a non stop thrill ride of scares and terrors. Some of the scariest films in my opinion are those that look at what the mind of a single sadistic individual can do. The Stalker 2 is one of those films!
There is also a subplot of consequences for past actions, and doing what we can to right past wrongs. Nothing can stay in the closet, or lake, forever!

The Stalker: Part II does a good job at pulling an audience in and keeping their attention for the duration of the film. This film sits just under an hour long and the structure actually lends to the overall engagement. While the film does progress quickly, there were some moments that may have benefited from some more drawn out reactions from the characters. The cinematography helps tell the story and build suspense with the use of wide shots, where your eyes have to dart around the screen to see if you can catch the stalker. There were some moments where I would have liked to have seen more close-ups and a more consistent shade of moonlight and contrast ratios throughout the image. The shot of the dad in the doorway near the beginning of the film with half his face completely dark encompasses the overall tone of the story. And the actor who portrayed the stalker did a really convincing job.
Prepare to be on the edge of your seat with "The Stalker Part II," a spine-chilling sequel that delivers thrills and suspense in abundance. Director Michelle Lewis takes us on a relentless rollercoaster ride of terror, picking up where the first installment left off and plunging us deeper into the darkness of revenge gone awry.
Returning to the screen with a vengeance, Wendy, portrayed brilliantly by Jessie Bell, grapples with the haunting aftermath of the Hamilton family's ordeal. As she struggles to reclaim a semblance of normalcy, her tormentors refuse to let her find peace, setting the stage for a heart-pounding battle of wills.
Sean Nugent steals the show as the diabolical bad guy, his portrayal reminiscent of classic villains from a bygone era. With his menacing presence and devilish laughter, Ayers brings an old-school charm to the role, evoking memories of silent film antagonists who relished in their nefarious deeds. His performance is a masterclass in villainy, keeping viewers spellbound with every wicked twist and turn.
What sets "The Stalker Part II" apart is its impeccable pacing, expertly crafted by the talented editing team. Clocking in at just under an hour, the film wastes no time in grabbing hold of your attention and refusing to let go. Unlike many low-budget productions that falter under the weight of unnecessary filler, Lewis trims the fat to deliver a lean and mean cinematic experience. Every scene serves a purpose, propelling the narrative forward with a sense of urgency that leaves you breathless.
But beneath the pulse-pounding action lies a deeper exploration of the human psyche and the destructive power of obsession. As the Hamiltons grapple with their unseen adversary, they are forced to confront their own demons, blurring the lines between victim and perpetrator. In the twisted game of cat and mouse that ensues, sanity hangs by a thread, and the stakes couldn't be higher.
"The Stalker Part II" is a triumph of suspense cinema, offering a deliciously dark ride for horror aficionados craving a fresh scare. With its stellar performances, relentless pace, and spine-tingling atmosphere, this is one sequel that surpasses the original in every way. Don't miss your chance to experience the madness unfold on the big screen.

I really enjoyed The Stalker and the sequel The Stalker: Part II totally outshines the first. Don't get me wrong, like I said, I liked the 1st but it's not often that a part 2 is better than it's predecessor. The filmmakers really did a great job on this one. A few of the roles were recast but the story does not suffer from this. I really like how the story continues with not only a lot of the trauma from the first movie spilling over but they also added in new drama and trauma which really keeps you engaged in the story. I highly recommend you check out both The Stalker and The Stalker: Part II.
