You might love it or hate it.

I loved this series because it encompasses a different take on Sherlock Holmes.

There have been a dozen of movies as well as series about Sherlock Holmes and sometimes it feels watching the same thing again and again (whether it is RDJ's Sherlock Holmes or Benedict Cumberbatch's Sherlock) This is a series where we see it from a different fresh view.

If you are a Sherlock Holmes fan then I might suggest you (While watching) to let the series flow and let it take you towards a creative direction of it's own.

Moriarty is such an interesting character so this anime is a refreshing take on Arthur Conan Doyle's works, as most adaptions have focused on Sherlock Holmes. I also liked the interactions between Moriarty and his brothers, it really showed that he was a multi-dimensional character with a complex background.

A delight to watch , This show changes your perspective around many things and is so easy to follow along with some smart characters.

I'am a big fan of this anime,its underrated so much. The story is just getting better and better.

This anime is really underrated in my opinion. If you like detective animes you should go on over and watch this!

Watched great animes as Attack on Titan , Death Note , Fullmetal Alchemist , Hunter x Hunter , Steins Gate , Cowboy Bebop , Hajime no Ippo , Vinland Saga before but this serie is something different.

Especially Season 2... With its mysterious plot and unique characters , Yuukoku no Moriarty will always stay as the best anime in my heart ❤ Huge respect to the staff 🙏

IDK why this show has such a low rating it deserves at least 8.5/10

I always thought that Moriarty deserves more attention and this anime absolutely made this come true. Just watch it and it'll be your number one of all time!

This is really amazing. Highly reccomend for Sherlock Holmes fans and anime fans.

"Moriarty The Patriot" is the group consisting of the Moriarty brothers and some like-minded people, who soon become known throughout England as "The Lord of Crime". The main goal of the group is to eliminate the great gap between rich and poor and to unite them into one society - no matter what has to be done to achieve this.

In my opinion, the anime shines most in the first few episodes, in which the principle of the group is made clear. After that, there are also some high points, but unfortunately the anime is extremely dialogue-heavy compared to others and these dialogues are also formulated in an extremely high-concept manner and therefore seem quite long-winded here and there.

In general, I would have liked more sensation and excitement, but "Moriarty The Patriot" is definitely worth watching.

If you watched the first episodes please don't rate! It's going to start from episode 3 believe this can be the greatest anime you've ever seen

Mixed feelings left behind the first season of "Moriarty's Patriotism". Just want to note that the first series (and there were only 11 in the first) were much more interesting than the subsequent development of the plot. It is clear that this is a detective story, with all the consequences of the genre, but... To turn anime into a soulless string of dialogues and a set of ridiculous stories with Sherlock is blasphemy to say the least. Nothing in common with the prototype of the hitherto known master of solving the most complicated crimes. Sherlock here arouses at least sympathy and dislike for his pretentious behavior.

But I want to talk about Moriarty endlessly. You get into the story of his life from the very first series - and it's really interesting! An orphan who had been adopted by the house of Moriarty. Under the name of William James Moriarty, he decides to confront Britain's rigid class system with his brothers and to do so becomes a "crime consultant". The opposition to evil in the guise of soulless rich people who call themselves the aristocracy is determined by the bold and calculating disposition of a very intelligent young man. However, the fight turns into blind hatred and with each episode more and more resembles a battle with windmills. Naively believing that in this way the world will be rid of villains, Moriarty increasingly resembles a cold-blooded killer, whose main compass is one sense of revenge.

I admit that in almost every anime I have watched, there is always a character that you sincerely sympathize with. Moriarty's "Patriotism" was, to my great disappointment, the first exception. Nevertheless, I am waiting for the continuation, although I do not flatter myself with hopes of seeing something that will radically change the already established opinion about this detective creation.

Oh, yes, I want to praise the cool opening and a good musical accompaniment!

Despite most of the criticism from my side, I would still recommend it to those viewers who are interested in contradictions and bold extraordinary versions of events along with well-reflected historical details!

By the way, at the time of writing the review, two musicals based on this anime have already been staged in Japan.

I love it. After Watching 1st episode don't rate. I can't understand why this has a very low rating. This must deserve at least 8.0.

Moriarty hooked me on right from the first episode and I found myself watching the whole anime non stop . It's brilliant show and fantastic story . My nephew recommend it to me , and I'm grateful :) i hope there's more season because i miss them so damn much.

Got into it without much expectation, but was blown away by the production value and intricacy of story line. Well done!!!!

The best crime anime I've ever seen , it worth to watch.

Yeh to put it plainly. Series is a certified AAA+ Banger. Wow. The writing. The voice acting. This is high tier and needs its place in its deserved spot as a modern great. And wow yeah the animation. Wow. Bandai pulled no punches on this one. Beautiful from start to finish.

It is amazing and worth watching. The story line was perfect and those plot twist matches with story line so smoothly those characters has a super strong personality in it and even the op and ed themes was represented the happenings i absolutely love it.

You watch this anime if you want to regret it.this anime destroyed sherlock holmes story. We can watch the Sherlock series.i think about it and now, i say only hate from this anime. Just like What you do not expect to see.

Moriarty the Patriot is a great anime with some pretty great voice acting from Aaron Dismuke Theo Devaney Christopher Guerrero Howard Wang Ryan Colt Levy and J Michael Tatum.

The show also has a great story and great animation a few intense and suspenseful moments and quite a few emotional moments.

I also enjoy the rivalry between Moriarty and sherlock. I also like the sibling relationship between Moriarty Louis and Albert.

And I also enjoy the dynamic between sherlock and Watson.

I also thought the show had a pretty satisfying ending and it had a great score.

So I recommend watching Moriarty the Patriot.

Loved this anime, storyline us fresh and original and the art is clean and crisp. Don't let the rating fool you this show is criminally underrated should be rated at least 8,3 to 8,5 but alas so many people don't have taste lol.

Seriously though give it a try doubt it will disappoint.

This show is truly underrated deserves atleast above 8.5 ratings, there is hardly any flaws in the show a nearly perfect show. Excellent story.

A must watch if you're into crime/thrillers. Fast paced, so those not paying attention closely enough can get lost very easily.

This show was really good I'm glad I had the opportunity to watch I just wish there was more to watch! Thank you to the creators for making this!! I think it would be cool to dive into each characters life before and after the start and after the close. The way they closed it out was fine but I just feel like they left a lot of people wanting more but I doubt more content will be produced. Nevertheless, it was great and I'll keep recommending it to others!
