It's crazy how the long version didn't improve at all compared to the short version here. The 'feature' is really just longer and has two more unnecessary characters in it. They don't add up. Or they actually just add up by the number of persons involved. Otherwise it is just exactly a copy of the short version. I was hoping to be surprised in a positive way, but instead was left at the altar. A straight F.

Looking forward to seeing the sequel too! The film is original and captures the audience and the characters are diverse too! Kept me mesmerized throughout and enjoyed RIVER so much!

The cinematography is outstanding!

The film is very well written and has the potential to be a top rated film! It's time to put this film out in front! Look forward to more of this filmmaker and love her style! The next Speilberg in the making! Love to support Women Filmmakers the most!

The direction feels sassy and overconfident. Except a few good-looking shots (but standard thanks to the location) the film fails at making the viewer care for what is happening. The characters lack in relatability. And the dialogues make it hard in forgetting your watching a low budget film.

It shows why a director can't do everything in a film. That it takes actual expertise. Don't over promote your film if you don't know what you're doing !
