The series officially ended on January 2, 2011, after the 2nd season, after Lovato completed treatment and left her role.

Demi Lovato left the show after season 2 for mental health reasons. As a result, the show was renamed "So Random!" and focused only on the sketches, rather than the behind-the-scenes antics.

Demi Lovato and Tiffany Thornton are the only two to appear in all of the episodes.

This was the second Disney Channel original series in which the lead actor/actress left during its run, and the fourth Disney Channel series to have a main cast member leave during its run.
