A story of a couple who grew apart without even knowing it. One is content with their relationship while the other has contrasting feelings.

Greetings again from the darkness. They've been together for 10 years, and when Doug proposes - seemingly spontaneously - to Lori, her reaction is 'slightly' askew from what he expected. The real question here is, how do two people have a 10 year romantic relationship and never once discuss marriage, kids, a house, or literally anything to do with their future? That's the premise for the dramedy from writer director Jeff Rosenberg and co-writer Laura Jacqmin.

Aya Cash ("Fosse/Verdon" and a Jodie Whitaker lookalike) stars as Lori, longtime girlfriend of Doug, played by William Jackson Harper (MIDSOMMAR, 2019). If the proposal-gone-wrong and subsequent fallout weren't uncomfortable enough, the timing couldn't be much worse. Lori and Doug are scheduled to leave for her sister's wedding, and both have roles in the wedding party ... he's "King of the Ushers". Since staying away is not an option, the dilemma they face is whether to announce the break-up or pretend everything is fine until the vows are exchanged. They decide not to spoil the wedding and head off to Camp Arrowhead, the former summer camp site that the wedding couple selected for the ceremony.

Sarah Bolger (IN AMERICA, 2002) plays Bea, Lori's betrothed sister. She's been dating Jayson (Tony Cavalero, "School of Rock" TV series) for a whole month, and the two energetic free-spirits are total personality opposites from Lori and Doug. As mother of the two girls, Peri Gilpin ("Frasier") is a tad less than supportive of her daughter's spontaneous life decisions, while initially clueless to the difficulties faced by her stable and dependable daughter.

The film is well acted by the leads, but most of it feels like a missed opportunity to explore the psychological differences of the sisters or the effects of a long-term "comfortable" relationship with no eye towards the future. Both of the topics are begging for more in-depth coverage, and instead we are left with mostly predictable behavior. One couple that is too fast to the altar, while the other is too slow, presents a goldmine of opportunity. On the bright side, there are some small moments and subtle jokes and gags that are beautifully executed and work much better than the overall comedy efforts. Filmed at Calamigos Ranch in Malibu, the film touches on anger and hurt and excitement, and all emotions attached to love and relationships.

This was in the comedy section. Not only was it depressing, it never really went anywhere. The female lead (Lori) was totally unlikeable and I really couldn't figure out why the male lead (Doug) would stay with her anyway.

This movie was decent and entertaining! It was worth watching! Don't let the 1/10's fool you! My husband and I enjoyed the movie.

As close to a hot mess as could possibly be! I put it on cause I watched a horror movie called Fresh before this which is amazing yet very disturbing figured this would be solid ish it only is slightly enjoyable. The bulk of it is awkward, not funny, and would almost been fine without being a movie more of a hangout for everyone involved.

This film doesn't waste any air time where every unspoken moment speaks louder than words. Just like IRL! Make sure you don't miss a beat. You will feel a range of emotions from anxiety, sexual tension between the love interests, sadness, wanting, love, happiness. You feel all the feels and especially in those silent moments and musical vignettes. The characters stories take toy on a journey throughout the film that we all go through when thinking about marrying someone like mining your life with someone and seeing if you can share youre dreams with your partner and vice versa.

This is an excellent movie, a realistic romance for a change. It's funny and touching. I think the bad ratings are because it's not your typical "everything works out in the end" kind of film. But let's face it, sometimes people want different things.

Man this was lame. Two people break up - or something - and hang out? Low budget - badly acted. Hope it filled some digital shelf so everyone who watches this can be just as miserable as I was.

I hadn't seen such a bad movie in years! Terrible movie with terrible layout.

Three minutes and twenty-two seconds... The amount of time it took before I turned this movie off.

Literally the worst 3 minutes and 22 seconds of any movie I've ever seen.

Cute unique story with solid characters. I wasn't really expecting too much but it kept my interest. It had a few funny moments and a few sappy moments.

Not a funny movie at all, just straight up cheesy. The acting wasn't great, which makes the "known" celebrities look horrible. I mean actors from The Boys, Spin City, etc. They break up, get upset when the other is enjoying themselves, act a fool, blah blah blah. I don't know how this managed to get a 5 out of 10 in the ratings. I tried to laugh, I really did, but basically impossible. Don't waste your time when looking for a movie for family night or date night. Already gave it a thumbs down on Hulu as well. If you're going to spend money and time on a movie, at least make it something worth watching.

2 young people who are dating decide to break up......and act like it's the end of the word. No strings attached whatsoever, no kids, no house, no marriage but been together 10 years apparently which I find unbelievably unrealistic in 2021. Did they get into a seriously relationship at 18 or something? They never met any other people? And apparently its the end of the world and all their friends and family think so too. Okay....

The chemistry between the characters was excellent and I cared what happened to the four main characters from beginning to end. Some may classify this as a comedy but deeper and more thoughtful than the usual. Lots to think about after the movie ended.

I'm English and watching this film was dreadful because of the worst attempt at an English accent I have ever heard. The film is dull anyway but that accent made it irritatingly dull.

At last! A film about the ending of a relationship where there is no "bad guy" or "bad girl"...just two people who care deeply about each other but are heading in different directions. Solid acting and directing. Kudos to all!
