Although many claimed that this film isn't the first non-linear narration destroying all its marketing effort to make it one, that whole discussion stopped abruptly and the film didn't seem to gain any awards.

Parthiban is a man who likes stealing the show from others and scoring in any place wherever he is and that's exactly the problem all his films have, we always get to see the narration from his perspective only and that sometimes feels so monotonous and so even if the film was made well, it just doesn't hold you in any way.

This is probably the first film where the entire world was shocked to know that the whole 1st part was just the making of this film as it portrays all the difficulties that they faced while. Making the entire film in a single shot, this might be a monumental film in that case, but the content was so dark and heavy, plus the performances looked so artificial and we just couldn't connect with the film especially watching the 2nd part after having watched the 1st part, so that's precisely my advice to you, if you haven't watched and are planning to watch it, watch it in reverse: watch 2nd half first and 1st half, at last, this way you might like the film also.

This film is definitely a different try with a humungous effort from the entire crew, these kinda films could only be made by people who're so much passionate about cinema like kamal & Partiban, idt, anybody else would fit that bill in Tamil cinema.

First we should appreciate Parthiban sir and whole team for pulling off this impossible task . Bring up this innovative idea and executing it well was just incredible . It was new experience to watch making video of the movie at first 30 mins before deep diving into it and it was necessary though . Without showing this making video at first , general audience may watch it as a normal movie , but by explaining meaning of non linear single shot , behind the scenes struggles and speciality of this movie really helped the audience to watch it at different perspective . Story was good and screenplay was well written . Movie shows the life of man from his childhood in non linear way and storytelling was dark and disturbing . Dialogues were really good , even in making video Parthiban never failed to score with his sarcasm . Performance wise whole cast done a great job , eventhough at pressured situation they never failed . Cinematography was backbone of this movie , still can't believe how they choreographed the transformation of one scene to other . AR Rahman again delivered a beautiful Bgm and songs especially " Maayava Chayava " and " Kaayam " was impressive . Drawbacks , few places dubbing was bit poor and Love failure song felt unwanted . Overall a new experience for me . It may not everyone's cup off tea . 18+ due strong profanity and few nudity , sexual content .

RP is a genius, gone unnoticed and uncelebrated! Such a masterstroke, a rare piece of art he's made. Wonder many of the popular & influential critics are paid or are behind big banners, celebrated artists.

If it's a Hollywood movie then Awe, wow, superb, blah blah. A regional movie is always a trash if not made in big budget & scale!

They are not celebrating this novel concept of one man taking over the entire film making except it's camera, fighting demons with whole lots of characters in a single shot movie in 50 odd locations!!!

Raw, Natural, Humane, as good as it gets!

This is a fantastic experimental attempt at storytelling with a top-notch technical team. The plot is the catharsis of the protagonist as he recollects his life events. But, you are not able to connect with the character for it seems rushed and the screenplay just looks - like one bad event after another. The narrator describes even the good deeds he faced with a chain of bad events that it leads to. And, suddenly the protagonist redeems and it did not work. It's a great emotional story only deterred by its unique way of storytelling. But that's the intention - the making effort takes center stage here rather than the content. Do watch if you like experimental movies!!

An high budget film can be produced without so my worries and it will gross collection like that but a pure craftsmanship is you film like as otta serupu you have nailed this in a shot really amazed on seeing this movie. Hatsoff to all the workers in the movie.

First of all we should appreciate all the people who were worked behind this movie.. And for written this non-linear script... This movie story revolves a character name nandhu and his tragedy life history... But the screenplay not engaging but dialogues are good.. Must watch movie for great making...!

The only positivity about this film is its making. We can understand a lot of hard work has went into its making.. but why???? All waste of time.. the story is shabby weak and forcefully the director had included nude scenes ,filthy dialogues and breast-feeding scenes for publicity. The film runs like a drama, Andhra, Chennai Paris and temple all looks alike. I can appreciate otha serrupu to an extent but definitely not this filthy trash. The intension of Partheban is just to direct a film for award. Did he think anything about the content. All rubbish in one film. Wate of time and money. Both for the maker and the audience.

Team's hardwork shows. Great movie!

Making single shot clips worth a few mins itself is very difficult, but Parthiepan proves nothing is impossible. Loved the movie and Rahman's music too. Everyone should go watch the movie in theaters and celebrate this.

Like his previous oththa seruppu film, IN had great story to be shot as a proper live action film. It now has great staging and blocking, no doubt. But, it looked like theatrical drama. With Parthiban's sense of direction and shot conception, this film would have won real awards instead of 'world's first..' 'india's first..' etc. And VFX cg could have been better..

It is clearly not the first non linear single shot movie as per the claims. Ok let's leave it and concentrate on the story. As a story there's nothing in it waste of time, money and Nude scenes.

If wasting the efforts of an artist is an art, Dir Parthiban is the Picasso of it. Worst movie of 2022 without a doubt.

First film in the world with SINGLE SHOT NON LINEAR script. Creator PARTHIEBAN excelled the script with strong cast and crew. Movie started with BTS which shows the hard-work, dedication and intensity of the cast and crew. Anyway The long dedicated journey brings SUCCESS to the creator.

NON-LINEAR narration, single shot, AR rahman musical added advantage for this movie. Yet another art given by PARTHIEBAN.

What a rubbish concept? Instead of making movies, people waste money and talent trying to set records, with half baked scripts and mediocre stories and worse telling.

A movie is first a story wanting to be heard and seen and then about the technical aspects. The technology behind becomes important only and only if there is a story that is compelling.

Waste of time!

Hands off to parthiban for taking a challenge like this and executing this movie. Big salute to the art director and the whole production team who managed to put up a set like this. Parthiban claims it's the first single shot non linear movie. I am really surprised that they could pull off something like this in a single shot. The movie travells into different setups frequently and as early mentioned it is a non linear story narration. The love story especially the first one was my favorite. The camera man deserves a big praise for making this movie possible. The writing was good at many places but at some points it feels a bit dragged. Parthiban has proved that he is a director who always attempts to do something new with his every movie. AR rahmans songs were good, especially the telgu song. Parthiban and all the female characters who came in the movie gave very nice performance.

Since they use a lot of voice overs to narrate the story, it sometimes gets confusing which is his dilouges and which is the voice over. The climax didn't work for me much. The movie did not work for me much emotionaly also as it is supposed to work.

I just saw the movie today and I was so touched by this movie, the love scenes, the music and the screenplay were awesome. It is a dark Story but with a beautiful message! All the actors did an incredible job. Please guys do watch this in the cinema and support Parthiban Sir. He put so much effort and dedication into this. He should win all the awards this year. A R Rahman Sir you are a living legend! Your music and background music was mind blowing, cried all the time.

You will really get awestruck by the effort they put for this movie. At the same time you will be hit with big boredom by the exhausted story and depressing event flow.

The work has the Parthiban touch but it badly missed in the screenplay and entertainment factors. We can see the effort on every scenery changes, at the same time it adds depression only on each and every progress.

Because of the effort want to appreciate at the same time because of the content cant appreciate. If you can enjoy the hard work of movie, this is for you. If you are only concerned on end presentation, you will be disappointed.

What they have tried is something different and we have not watched a movie like that in a single shot. But the story and the screenplay make us bored and irritated at many times while watching the movie. To be honest Watch the movie only for the experience. Story and content wise movie is utter nonsense!

My friend book me a ticket to the movie for first show. I just think it is impossible to screen a non-linear story in single or un-cut short. I not excited while I entered into theatre. After the first half (making video) i just wondered. The hardwork of parthiban sir and team is extraordinary and dedicated. And I'm excited to watch second half as well as ARR sir add value to screenplay perfectly.after the movie i just feel they made this impossible to possible. Overall the movie was amazing.

If some one trying to bring up something new and different it should be appreciated & encourage but when the maker does not need it than it's a waste. Watching movie you feel he just made this movie for record as one first single shot movie or whatever, don't know if that's true. With experiment goes hard word, energy, finance but top of it entertainment with out that everything is wasted. That's what happened with this movie very poor script, bad execution spoils the complete show. Disappointed could have been a good watch with new concept but with strong story. This fails & Disappoints, avoid it.

The plot of the movie was a bit dragging but the movie itself was a beautiful experience.

The experience was so impactful that your brain, in a way, comprehended everything happens in night even with day shots, but when we stepped out of the theatre, I was confused when it was dark outside.

Again giving 10 for the experience.

Irrespective of non linear single shot, multiple takes,hardwork. At the end of the day -any movie should entertain the audience in its respective genre.....In the name of experiment, this movie failed to entertain common audience..

Must watch for movie lovers and for movie aspirants. Making of this is shown before th movie, where the team got the applause from the audience which is before the start of this movie. A great team work archested by Rathakrishnan parthibaen and AR Rahman rocks as always. Special credits to all departments like art, camera, make-up, sound mixing - all are in sync on this parthibaen's SINema. P. S Intended for adult audience has profanity and nudity which was required for this story.

Not Good. Movie taken to create world record for single shot. But story is not at all satisfying the audience. (This is not at all a story). Crew had hard work but again it's not about record,we spend money it should have some proper story and screenplay.

The story and screenplay is so old and non engaging. Even making showed earlier was good and engaging, compared to the movie . Same bad guy to good guy story. Some shots in the movie does give you headaches with it's trippy nature.
