Warning! Spoilers for Transformers #15An Autobot just made their debut in Transformers' new Energon Universe continuity, but they’re destroyed as soon as they appear, as Starscream’s new faction officially enters the Autobot / Decepticon war. The stakes continue to grow for the Robots in Disguise, and with three factions of Cybertronians waging war on Earth, things are looking ever more grim for humanity.
Coming from the creative team of Daniel Warren Johnson, Jorge Corona, Sarah Stern, and Rus Wooton, Transformers #15 returns readers to the main story after the brief two-issue arc focusing on Starscream. Following the cataclysmic events of Transformers’ second arc, the Autobots are looking for allies, which they find in their comatose ally, the classic G1 Transformer Trailbreaker.
Although Wheeljack plans to revivify Trailbreaker, the comatose Autobot is destroyed before any work can be completed, as “Starscream’s Brigade” enters the scene just in time for a...

Transformers One opened up a whole new world of opportunity for possible animated Transformers movies, showing just how valuable the medium could be for the somewhat stagnated science fiction franchise in recent years. Transformers One finally tells the long-requested story of D-16 and Orion Pax's humble origins on Cybertron as close friends and Energon miners before falling out, taking opposite sides on an ideological divide as Megatron and Optimus Prime. This new side to the Transformers mythos opens up the door for new possibilities in the franchise's films.
Granted, the box office of Transformers One was quite disappointing, meaning the actual likelihood of a new animated feature film set in the Transformers universe being made is sadly slim to none. Still, it's fascinating to speculate as to where the continuity established by Transformers One could go after the initial civil war for Cybertron. From the many Transformers cartoons that have...

Warning! Spoilers ahead for Transformers #12
Optimus Prime may be heading down a dark path in the Energon Universe, as the first year of Skybounds smash-hit Transformers officially draws to a close. Prime even goes so far as to kill a major Decepticon in the finale to the current story arc, which could signal a dark change coming for the Autobot leader.
Transformers #12 written by Daniel Warren Johnson, with art by Jorge Corona features Optimus Prime dealing with the threat of Shockwave once and for all, as in a fit of rage, Prime crushes Shockwaves head, taking the Decepticon out of the picture for good.
Its a huge moment for Prime, one that is complicated by the memories Prime has been seeing since Sparkplug Witwicky sacrificed himself into the Autobot leaders spark. That led to Prime getting a supercharge of power in Transformers #6, but the result is that hes seemingly taken some of Sparkys memories.

In Transformers One, Orion Pax and D-16 are the best of friends on Cybertron. Joined by B-127 and Elita on a quest to find the Matrix of Leadership, they discover that Sentinel Prime's rule of Cybertron is built on lies and set out to expose their leader.
However, they have vastly different approaches to that; costumed by hatred after learning Sentinel Prime secretly joined with the Quintessons to maintain his power over Cybertron, D-16 decides revealing the truth to everyone isn't enough.
He sets out to kill the villain and, during the fight, accidentally shoots Pax into Cybertron's core. With no one left to oppose him, D-16 murders Sentinel Prime, takes Megatronus' cog, and rebrands himself as Megatron.

This post contains spoilers for "Transformers One."
"Transformers One," the fully-animated prequel, has arrived. Set on Cybertron, home planet of these autonomous robots, the movie depicts how Optimus Prime (Chris Hemsworth) and Megatron (Brian Tyree Henry) went from best friends -- and nobodies named Orion Pax and D-16 -- to leading two sides of a galactic civil war. (Read /Film's "Transformers One" review here to find out whether or not it succeeds.)
Even with its brief 104-minute runtime, "Transformers One" shows the beginnings of the other most important conflict in Megatron's life: The one with his future second-in-command, the Decepticons' treacherous Air Commander Starscream.
Starscream's defining quality has always been a desire to overthrow Megatron and supplant him as Decepticon leader. He's too ambitious and egomaniacal to accept serving under someone else, but in the end, he can never surpass Megatron as a warrior or leader. Starscream is so synonymous...

Warning! Spoilers ahead for Transformers #12
The latest Energon Universe Transformers ends with a shocking turn, as Elita-One betrays the Autobots on Earth, in a subversion of her traditional role that will have major ramifications for the future of the franchise. Though Optimus Prime and his allies defeated Shockwave, it was a Pyrrhic victory, as they were left no time to celebrate by Elita-One's unexpected actions.
Transformers #12 written by Daniel Warren Johnson, with art by Jorge Corona brings the current conflict between the Autobots and the Decepticons, led by Shockwave, to a fair definitive end. While the Autobots are victorious, Optimus Prime winds up facing a major personal betrayal from his old friend, Elita-One.
The Energon Universe has so far been an exciting reinvention of Transformers, but while it has offered twists on classic lore and character dynamics before, this is the most shocking yet.

It's been a long road for Star Trek: Enterprise from its legacy as the show that ended the second-wave of the franchise to being an underappreciated classic. Much like other now-canceled shows, Enterprise was a series that most fans skipped the first time around. As the fourth Star Trek series in 18 years, some fans may have simply chosen to skip it. However, as the flagship of the now-defunct United Paramount Network (Upn), it's unceremonious end had more to do with that than its substance. Enterprise deserves its second chance, and these 10 episodes are a great example of why.
In ranking the 10 best Enterprise episodes, one should turn to its fans. When looking at the aggregate rating from IMDb users, there's something of a tie for 10th place. Honorable mentions include the first half of "Shockwave," a two-parter tying directly to Star Trek: Disocvery's Doctor Kovich. The episodes "Council," in Season...
