I enjoyed this film. Some of the writing is a little rough, and it's clearly a low-budget effort, but the treatment of the subject matter felt fresh, and the director's voice and aesthetic seemed to come from an authentic place. The genre is a bit of a mash-up that you might call dark stoner dramedy. The film balances its darker, more unsettling moments with quirky humor, creating a unique tonal blend that sets it apart. If you're open to work that can feel simultaneously pop and bizarre, with a willingness to explore its imperfections, this film is absolutely worth a viewing. I look forward to North's next effort.

I was so excited for this movie's release, and I couldn't wait to watch it on the first day! I had high expectations, and it definitely didn't disappoint. It's an incredible film that takes you on an emotional rollercoaster. From the heartwarming moments to the intense, jaw-dropping scenes, it'll have you laughing, crying, gasping in surprise, and even applauding. The performances were exceptional, and the story kept me hooked from start to finish. The visuals were stunning, and the soundtrack really added to the overall experience. I highly recommend giving this one a watch-you won't regret it! I do wish we could have seen it in theaters, though. I can only imagine how amazing it would have been on the big screen.

This movie is unique, entertaining, and unpredictable which is nice. It's better that a lot of the content on the streamers and tent pole theatricals. The cinematography is well done. I loved the chemistry between the two male leads and the mysteriousness and craziness of the female lead. Without spoiling anything, I got satisfaction from the way the sexual predators were dealt with. It was cool seeing Raymond J. Barry who usually plays a father or a cop in most movies (Tom Cruise' dad on Born on the Fourth of July) and shows (Arlo in Justified) play a totally different character. The dream sequences are awesome. The variety of locations and interesting characters was fun. I hope one of the streamers turns this into a series because I'd love to spend more time with the characters and see more of their mission. The Bella character could even get her own show. This isn't really a holiday movie although the story happens on Christmas Eve/Day, but I will definitely make watching this a new holiday tradition.
AMAZING film on all levels! Dynamic multiple story lines keep you hanging off those California cliffs the entire film! Powerfully written and directed scenes for all characters with a unique twist to tie them all together. The creativity and attention given to detail in each scene is phenomenal. James T North delivers in excess - giving the audience a completely unique take on this Christmas Eve story line. The cast is STELLAR creating depth and presence in each character throughout the diverse facets of the film! Character development is absolutely intriguing and the stunt work of Mena Elizabeth Santos is outrageously pure! The must see of independent films this XMAS!

Captivating and does a great job of balancing out the subject matter and themes. I loved the western elements and the assemble cast. You like the main characters more and more as you watch the movie and you are very satisfied at the end. I recommend this one it's a good watch. Loved the dream sequences and the fantasy element. The direction and cinematography are great. You go from hunting sexual predators then spaghetti with Baba the Grandma and back to hunting. If you want something different and unique this one's worth checking out. Pleasantly different and a funky contrast from the Hollywood formula. The music really enhances the experience Christmas, Western and punk are a great mix for a movie.

Love the homage to old school spaghetti westerns. Nothing like a good ol cowboy stand-off. Growing up with westerns and seeing how they treat on one of the predators I took enjoyment in the creative ways these vigilantes seek justice. I do feel bad for the one they hunt earlier on Lester I think they could have let him be. I think the female lead did a great job and is gonna cause a ruckus for those boys with how things are left. This Christmas western set in the South Bay did a good job at this slice of life that these people with vices seem to all have. I think the Grandma is the only one I trust!

Having waited to see Filthy Animals with anticipation, we threw a viewing party in our home. Everyone who was there thoroughly enjoyed the film. Applause and cheer turned into a standing ovation. The director James T North's vision and use of cinematic conventions was an homage to all the great directors before him. The well developed characters of the cast shined throughout. Each providing a a performance that reached out to the audience on an emotional subliminal experience where one was not only drawn into the story, but felt it's own understanding. This is to become a true classic and new holiday tradition. A must see. "Outlaws do make the Best Cowboys. "

Fresh faces take on a tough subject with a twist. Love the tour of the South Bay added a lot to the movie. Certain comedic element add it to the overall presentation. Independent film hit it over the fence with the first pitch. The music score pace with a twist and turns in the film really enjoyed the music. I think they caught the essence of the South Bay, but that lay back feeling but serious intent. Period I would recommend this to my friends without hesitation, knowing that they would see the things that I saw And appreciate this film. If you're looking for something that's a little different than the regular run of the mill shop shop 50 filthy animals I don't think you'll be making us mistake.

Set in South Bay, CA enjoy two misfits who go chomo hunting. It's a true slice of life, you can catch the wave but don't know if at any point you are gonna spiral out and crash or ride the wave all the way in. This is true independent filmmaking with trained and non trained actors. The movie is called Filthy Animals to try and state that those are the sexual predators but with every character having a vice we are all filthy animals. At one point when the Lars & Freddy are wearing bloody animal masks they literally become Filthy Animals. If you grew up watching Home Alone you'll appreciate this Christmas movie with a modern day twist. The movie even has a movie within a movie like Home Alone there's "Angels with Filthy Souls" and now in Filthy they have "The Man In Black" to foreshadow the end before the movie goes full western.

After 50 years of living in the South Bay this movie comes closest to capturing San Pedro, Palos Verdes and the beach cities. It's a beautiful movie that captures interesting and flawed characters. The energy and realism was very captivating. The craziness and mixed messages is captured very well. The music reflected the story and followed the pace and led the story so it made it feel perfectly woven together. The characters really fed off of each other. The guys Lars and Freddy have great chemistry as if they were brothers and can read each others minds. My favorite character was the Baba. The humor and cowboy elements really made this movie unique. The strip club was my favorite scene.

This film is not comparable to one I've seen before. It takes you somewhere else. The topic is generally an uncomfortable one with a premeditated Judgment. I found the film made me second guess that judgement because it allowed you to view it from a different perspective. Loved the characters and unique unexpected spin offs throughout the movie.

James T North gives an absolute stunner for his first project. He has his own unique storytelling with hints of Tarantino and whiffs of the Coen Brothers. The dedication and detail he and the cast gave on this movie shows throughout and helps it shine.
Ryan and Austan have great chemistry and banter that keeps things rolling forward. Raymond gives a great performance as Lester. Peter Larney also plays his part extremely well. Mena does a great job in her part as Bella.
Overall, you can tell North was deliberate in every thing he did and put a lot of dedication into this movie. Give it a watch.

Filthy Animals is a bold, unapologetically twisted ride that's as darkly entertaining as it is unhinged. Following two vigilantes hunting pedophiles on Christmas Eve, the film delves into the raw complexities of the human condition and its chaotic, untamed possibilities, exploring themes of justice, redemption, and the fine line between good and evil.
Set against the stunning backdrop of Los Angeles' South Bay beach cities, this is a darkly comedic thrill that doubles as a heartfelt homage-celebrating both the beauty of the place, the depth of its characters, and an unmistakable love for cinema that shines through every frame.

A Fantastic Film. FA features a very cool blend of genres and very fun references to other films sprinkled throughout. I really enjoyed the chemistry of the two main characters. Its fun at times. Messed up at times. Cool sounds and visuals too! The spaghetti western film within the film is a fun ride. It was shot very well and one can tell a lot of thought and love went into its production. There's a really neat blend of music in it as well. Some horror vibes as well as punk and western flairs. Also some really neat dreamy music as well. This all adds up to a very unique and entertaining film about a very intense subject matter. Definitely recommended.

This film was very unique, original, and super fun to watch! The characters are very intricate, and each go through their own personal journey. The film is shot extremely well, and the visuals of this film are outstanding. I enjoyed the interesting perspective and take on such an intense subject matter. I have never quite watched a film like this, and it was a very creative twist on a Christmas themed movie. The film definitely had an open ending in my opinion, which could leave room for a pretty cool sequel. I found myself wanting to know more about each character and how they ended up in these situations. Overall, this was very well done!
