On Monday, 1 March 2021, ITV announced that they have commissioned a second series of the comedy drama after the first series was a ratings success. Filming on series 2 will commence in February 2022 and will pick up the story one year on from the events of the first series.
The planned second series of the comedy drama has reportedly been scrapped by ITV. Filming on series two was supposed to commence in February 2022, but has been unable to take place due to members of the cast being unavailable for a variety of reasons. It is being reported that there are now no plans for filming of series two to be rescheduled.
Keeley Hawes (Alice) worked with Jason Merrells' (Harry) real-life brother Simon Merrells on the TV show Ashes to Ashes - Zurück in die 80er (2008). They played Alex Drake and David Blonde.
Alice's birthday is January 10, 1980, which would make her a 40-year-old Capricorn. At the time of filming, Keeley Hawes was a 44-year-old Aquarian born on February 10, 1976.
