Sune's class is going on a secret school trip. Sune and Sophie are really looking forward to spending time together when Sune suddenly realizes that Grandpa Helmer's wedding is the same weekend. Panic. Class trip with Sophie, or his best friend Grandpa? Sune can't make his mind up so decides to do both. Or something in-between. At the same time, Rudolf is suspicious about the bride. Sune hesitates about every decision since his future self appeared in a vision to warn him against a bad choice but failed to specify which. His family expects him to join beloved grandpa Helmer who finally is about to wed his beloved but Sune's pa Rudolf discovers she's probably two-timing the old man. Sune's mother bluffs when he hesitates whether to rather attend his class's cool 'secret school trip', with his girl Sophie, he should make up his mind even if that's running away, which he chooses.
