The makers here tried hard to make the movie hard hitting

The content was good and they made all the efforts to conclude it but they lacked in presentation..sunny Vijay and naushratt played well and we can see how hard they tried..movies goes in a good pace with hard love story ,politics,mandal commission, but at times the subject was stucked..the movie should had been chopped and songs too should be short

I will say it was a hard and good effort.

Blame it on the loose script or the inexperienced direction. This could have been a great stuff (considering a decent star cast and plot line) if the makers were really focused on the seriousness of the much debated issue of "caste based reservation", but they rather opted to emphasize on the romantic part which every now and then drags your attention away from the core subject on which this movie was supposed to be based.

The makers weren't sure whether to make something like Yuva or Arakshan and hence ended up making a cocktail that did had the necessary ingredients, but not in the right proportion.

Also a loosely edited stuff, could have been 30 minutes short considering OTT release platform.

You may like it, if you were just introduced in the world of cinema.

Loved the local language used. Its full of confusing events with an incomplete Climax. The Reservation Movement being the epicenter of the story line, was good & Nushrat VS Sunny as love bird was fabulous. Overall loved to watch.

I don't know what is the deal. Movies get offered to Vicky and since he is busy he tells the producers to speak to sunny and the project gets made with an offer that Vicky will promote it. Or a continuous stubbornness of being called a hero. Or slicing out Mohit raina and this time Vijay from the lead title. However, I can understand at script level the thought was good but it got spoilled on the celluloid. Problem is lead pair (marketed), get into the story and the character above all learn to act. Hope to see you in several more movies with same result.

Okay so the movie deals with reservation issue in India. How students of merit suffers due this law. The main protagonist Daddu wants to of crack the IAS exam but he has time for everything except studying. He break rules of college, Leak papers for medical, supports local goon, have time for romance. But still thinks only due to reservation his dream will be crushed?? BS plot.

Story writing is pethatic. Main characters misplaced. Whole India knows how the kids who prepare for IAS behaves n looks. Sunny n nausrat completely misplaced character. Boy who willing to pass IAS shown rowdy and not even a single scene of him studying. Girls full of make up n hairdo. Couldn't have learn from. Old movies like kareena shown in 3 idiots or gravy Singh in munnabhai. Brainless writing and screenplay. Miscast characters, nusrta always looks same in all her movies with high heels at home scenes too. What a joke bollywood cracking now a days. Such a genuine concern looks like mocked shamelessly.

The suggestion in the movie about making reservation income based is idiotic.

Poors from upper castes are different from poors from lower castes, poors from upper castes are already well represented in education and administration.

Income based reservation wouldn't uplift lower castes.

Reservations for lower caste isn't a favour, it was bargain instead of separate electorates for lower castes.

Lowcaste students don't steal seats from meritorious students, both group know how many seats there are for each group before taking the exam, study according to available seats or demand govt to increase seats by building more colleges, don't blame lower castes.

Every person who chose to make this movie is detached from reality and decided to make a movie about something they have no knowledge about.

Very very worst movie ever I have seen. Worst script story. Wastage of time and money. In this movie Upper cast people called Savarna having Inhuman virtue. By Inhuman mentality they always destroying IndigenousPEOPLE. So that every moive and literature should boycott.

Not sure what this movie wanted to be. Love, revolution, social!!!!!

End up being nothing.

This movie has nothing else to say what has been said before.

The topic ( mandal commission) choosen for this movie is brilliant that's why I watched this movie but the direction and story is rabish and looks like director was in hurry to complete the movie, only good thing in movie is acting of sunny kaushal.

Cant even watch first 30 mins that too on OTT. Directors should not caste side hero as lead actor. Sunny Kaushal has no charm, no acting nothing, he at best be a hero's friend and thats it.

Loved the movie and its boldness. A great take on a controversial topic like caste based reservation. Highly recommended to watch the movie. Songs are surprisingly good. Acting from Sunny is spot on. Nusrat faded a bit in front of him. I wish they had promoted the movie more. It had so much potential for bringing a new take with "unpopular opinion".

The movie throws light on how reservation brings incompetent dumb candidates into the system and eats the seats of meritorious people.

Reservation is a curse on the society.

Those who support it should be ashamed of themselves and apologize to the meritorious/general/forward category.

Performances of all actors is stellar. Sunny Kaushal is a scene stealer.

The 80s setting and music - recreated and new additions are all on point.

Rated - 10/10.

This story is based on real life experiences of Indian students. Sunny Kaushal has done great acting, nushrat steals the show. A world with equality is one with no birth based privileges. A system where people have equity instead of equality often results in rise in animosity towards each other. If we give any person a choice that which surgeon would he want for his operation the one who got more marks but still couldn't get the cut or the one with 10% marks of the former which would he choose?

Meritocracy leads to rise in the level of society By giving rise to mediocrity no nation can develop.

Clearly focus on how caste based reservation abuses merits.

If government wants to give reservation then it should be economy based not caste based.

The reservation is the divide that between Forward and Backward, the govt. Itself divides India and just sloganeering about Unity.

What a class act.

Its my humble request for every educated youth to watch this movie.

Specially if u hail from ALLAHABAD UNIVERSITY..D. U B. H. U.. J. N. U.. OR U. P college.. OR MGKVP.

Lived experience...vivid description..must watch for every one to understand reality of India...such movie should be made to depict the plight of otherside of coin which no one talks due to some unknown threat ..

All scenes are very real , story is also good. Vijay Verma acted to much like his other movie , he needs more recognition, I don't understand why these movies are getting promoted like Bamfaad, these movies seems low budget but better than most movies coming these days.

I really found it very good, that someone can still make a film without Abusing/Explicit language and Sex scenes based on Student life & Politics. All the actors have done a good job.

Also 1 Min silence for those who gave 1 star because the movie has kiss scenes or a new actor casted in the movie. They even don't know the actual reason but must be supporters of caste-based reservation (instead of real needy one).

Its a very good movie , must watch by everyone . Sirf action fight he zaruri ni hoti movie me story be zaruri hai and this movie is super have a super hit story.
