Miner's Mountain

No pun intended - the short movie looks really good. Cinematography on this is top notch to say the least. Acting is good and the script/story feels tight to say the least. Actually when this ends, you feel like it is just the prologue for a longer feature length movie. Or the experiment to see if this can work - the answer is yes, in case I was not clear enough already.

This is one of the "longer" short movies, but there is a reason for it. It takes time to tell its story and flesh out (no pun intended) its characters. This really does a good job of creating suspense and holding it up high ... until the end ... where there is a ... well release! But again, there could be more ... release! And hopefully there is.

This movie was so good the graphics was great. I just don't know why no one picked it up for a full feature. It would definitely get my money

THE best short film I ever watched On youtube. The acting and setting was mind blowing. I cant believe this is not a full movie Yet, the quality of it is so high level... The story was great too.. The suspense and pacing was perfect! I wish this could be released as a full movie, and I cant Wait for part 2 of this. The short film keeps You craving for more and more... And I Wanna know what happened next. The sheriff acting was top notch, very natural. He acted so good it really seemed like He was facing all of it in real, and remembering. The theme setting was perfect to set the atmosphere. Its just 10/10.

Just because a film is short doesn't mean it can't have a resolution. Sadly, this one doesn't, at least not a proper one. Twenty years ago, a rural deputy was called out by a woman who'd reported some strange goings on. Shortly she was murdered in horrific fashion, and suspicion appears to have fallen initially on our man.

Clearly that didn't last long, because he is now the local sheriff, but when two cold case detectives turn up at his office, he is back in the frame. And not just for that murder, another, similar one the previous night. So what is going on? That's all you need to know, except to say that he was probably cleared of involvement in the first murder because he wasn't the man who committed it. In fact, it wasn't committed by any kind of hu-man.

It is more than a real good short horror. The cinematography, the acting, the music are just great. The story is a fine , precise embroidery about guilt, family, memories, death and unknown. Short, a smart crafted film.
