It is a comedy version of Cinderella, but it's not funny. It's very tasteless and has too many gross jokes. I don't like it at all.
Not much to say really just very very disappointing, would like to give some positives but can't. It was dreadful

Sian Gibson is lovely, warm and funny in everything she does.
Unfortunately she's paired with David Walliams here, a man who seems to think he's far funnier than he actually is.
Not great overall.

I usually love David Walliams but I was severely disappointed by this program. I'd love to find anyone who actually liked this or found it funny.
It literally was like he put words, scenes and bad jokes together that HE found funny, regardless of whether anyone else found it funny.
If this was a non-celebrity trying to get this on the TV, there's NO way it would have been cleared for air.
What was Walliams thinking!?? This had bad acting, bad actors, was so out of date, so stupid, so cringe, so embarrassing and SO unfunny.
It seems it's WHO you are and what money you have, instead of talent and good writing, that will get you a prime time program at Christmas.
Currently 30 mins into it on Sky One. Awful. Terrible script and poor acting. Even the kids are expressing the same views.
Walliams early TV adaptations were great. This is embarrassing.

It's hard to find the words to describe how terrible this is. Poor. Boring. Childish. Pathetic. Embarrassing. Avoid at all costs and find something better to spend your time watching.

Most of the reviews are complaining about the rude and crude jokes. Yes there are some rude and crude jokes but as it is aimed at children they will find this very funny. More importantly it has a moral to the story about not being too self absorbed and ignoring others feelings. It also shows you be who you are and not try and be someone fake to impress anyone. It gets this across in a way that will keep chidren's attention. If you are looking for Shakespear keep looking if you want something silly and funny to watch with your kids this is a good bet and they will learn a lesson too! Too many of today's children's programs don't bother teaching children anything.

I'm sorry to say, this is a major fail. My girls love David's early work, but with this one the kids switched it off themselves. 🙄 😢
