As outsiders and insiders begin to gather on the island, and personal lives grow increasingly complex, the first casualties of the virus appear.

As a state ordered pandemic commissioner takes charge of the island, cracks in the islanders' relationships begin to show.

Herm and Evelin scheme against and betray their parents in the name of love, but this leads to further disaster as the virus claims another victim.

As Mikkel loses his handle on the island and people ignore the restrictions, events begin to spiral out of control.

After Evelin confesses her pregnancy, she is found to be resistant to the virus, which leads her to a mainland hospital and a shocking discovery.

The military try to force the islanders to evacuate Sløborn, but tragedy strikes in the ensuing shambles.
