I am extremely impressed by the quality of cut-throat satire in Paapam Cheyyathavar Kalleriyatte (Let Sinners Repent) that takes potshots at a variety of things prevalent in modern (Christian) weddings and the dual-faced behaviour of the people involved and the things they do in the name of money.

There are plenty of LOL moments in here starting from the first frame which takes a very leisurely approach throughout the film, magnifying some of the best performances I have seen so far this year. I would even call the entire cast performance a triumph as the comedy manages to convey its flurry of messages loud and clear, aptly enhanced by good characterisation, smooth camera work, and engaging dialogues.

Nonetheless, it is let down by a shabby climax that could have been righter and unambiguous. Yet, this one gets my thumbs up. An absolute merriment, the 2 hours you will spend on this. Even better if you are against the pomp and circumstance involved in fat Indian weddings. TN.

A satire well presented with ample amount of LOL sequences. Wish the climax was better. Overall a satisfying watch.

Let me warn you. This is not everyone's cup of tea. You'll probably end up hating this movie. I liked it anyway except for that crappy climax. There were lot of hilarious moments but they are scattered here and there. If the script was better, the movie could've been quite good. Watch it if you've got nothing else to do.

So basically the guy who wrote the story is telling you that people has carnal relationships with others, be it straight bisexual gay or incest. Which is true, but doesn't create an impact on the viewers. Its just trying hard to justify the story with some rubbish. The premise is similar to a Hollywood movie ive watched, so the concept isn't new.

It's boring from start to end. Nothing more than that.

The movie is an exaggerated version of the scenes that occur during a wedding in India, in a Keralan setting. It captures the essentials and presents it in a funny manner. It's a decent one time watch which presents a lot of social practices and associated ills related to a typical marriage. Even though the story goes places, the director has managed to hold it all together and put together a watchable movie. Definitely a good one time watch. The cast was also pretty good.

The movie is laggy and doesnt have any story.Just a marriage function and some relationships and some jokes but the climax was good.After the starting of 40 mins, i got exhausted to watch this one.At last i can say, i didnt liked this movie.

Complete waste of time. Baseless story, senseless screenplay, horrible camera work and appalling direction . I don't underatand how this was termed a comedy genere. Not once could I laugh. Pathetic is an understatement

This film sarcastically expose the sense of fake morality in our society. The chaos occuring when your best kept secrets are exposed to everyone around you is shown in a hilarious way. Good acting and music.

Movie made by a hindu director and producer offensing Christian community. False depection of a Christian family.

Paapam Cheyyathavar kalleriyayte is a beaufully crafted comedy with some unexpected and surprising plot twists. A must watch for everyone who seeks a fresh perspective on our societal stereotypes.

Although this movie doesnot have a paticular plot, this movie has completely justified the intention of this movie that is by showing different perspectives of a society.It is worth its watch.I would definitely suggest this one time watch movie. In short hilarious and meaningfull

Let me begin by telling you the bitter truth on your face. This story revolves completely around one point. THERE IS NOT EVEN A SINGLE SOUL WHO HASN'T DONE ANYTHING WRONG IN ANY MANNER IN THIS WORLD EVER!!! This movie is a clear example of that. The plot clearly shows the other side of human nature behind the veil of riches, dignity, fame, family nme in the society etc... Kudos to the writer and director Shambhu Purushothaman who has clearly brought out the best from each and every character who has acted in the simple yet refreshing movie. Vinay Fort and Tini Tom compliment each other very well...Srinda, as the irritating wife has done an excellent job.Not to forget a special mention on Santhy and Alancier's roles who have displayed effortless acting skills. The topic of this movie is something we are all aware of but brush it aside lest it ruffles our already set lifestyle. Looking forward to more of such stories from Shambhu.

A realistic movie that shows the other side of weddings. Lots of entertaining drama and dark humor. The movie was short and sweet and gets to the point quick without boring the audience. Vinay Fort has a lot of potential and is capable of being one of the leading stars in malayalam.
