this movie is a rare hard to find pile of trash i would much rather watch films like Mr. jingles (2006) or voodoo curse: the giddeh (2006) than this movie and that says a lot because those two movies are not that great either. I was actually surprised when i found this movie was made as as recently as 2006, i thought it would have been made in the 1990's because of bad picture quality and the effects and props

i hate this movie because of the following reasons

the effects are cheap and outdated

the acting is okay

the filming and cinematography is god awful

the sound quality is pretty bad

there is outdated and cheap props

and the picture quality is pretty bad

It is rare to see an independent movie made and get the recognition it deserves. This movie is full of surprises and unexpected details, which takes lots of hard work and dedication from the all those involved in the process. This film maker is passionate about what he does and it shows through in this movie. Support artists (writers, actors, special effects, editing, sound) and you will notice the craftmanship involved in this movie. See this movie,you won't regret it!!!! The special effects and acting skills are really impressive. And to top it off, the story will have you thinking for next couple of days, and you won't be able to get the images out of your head!!

I recommend checking this movie out. Yes it's an indie, low budget flick on the surface, but what it may lack in Hollywood Glitz is made up in substance with an interesting, original story that's nicely portrayed by a well chosen cast. It's an enjoyable movie with a lot of little twists and turns that keep you wondering what's going to happen next and how it will end. These guys chose to put the emphasis on telling a good story and keeping your interest unlike most indie movies I've seen. Kansas Carradine, in my opinion, is Hollywood Royalty. She comes from an acting family that has entertained the world for decades and she does a wonderful job in Rapid Eye Movement. They couldn't have cast a better star.

A lot of low budget films are pretentious and annoying. Slow paced movies about some woman running around a beach representing freedom. A waste of 120 minutes. This film is farthest from. While the production value looks like a grainy 16mm film, the plot and character development is excellent. I usually get bored in low budget films and fall asleep. I did not get bored for one second when watching this one. It held my attention the whole way through. I thought the acting was really good. As a woman, I really felt connected to the main character. It addresses issues of spousal physical and mental abuse. Also, I never would have guessed the ending. You can tell the filmmakers put their heart and soul into this one. If you're into low budget movies, this is a fun little gem. If you like movies like GAS LIGHT and MISERY, you'll like this one.

Really a wonderful change from the usually hum drum plots. Moved along and delivered. The indie, low budget was obvious but did not detract. It was well worth the suspense invested and gave a good satisfaction ending. I would like to see more from these writers in the future..... with a bigger budget for improved production values. A fun, nail bitter; the viewer will appreciate. The score/sound was supportive but not intrusive. Overall, a good pick. My wife felt the same way as I did about this movie which certainly surprised me since she avoids terror, suspense and edge of your seat flicks. Would like to see it again to appreciate dialog more.

I don't know what some of the "critics" of this film have been smoking, but I don't want none of that. They be expecting Citizen Kane and this movie isn't Citizen Kane, but I like the twists and turns of this movie. I thought some of the special effects were crappy, but what do you expect from a low budget movie. I probably would have gotten rid of some of the special effects because some of them are laughable, but movies like this are not watched for the special effects, but for the script and directing angles. Give it a break. I love these people who bash a movie when they can't do any better. See this movie, not for the special effects, but for the twists, the directing, and even some of the acting is good.

The best independent film that i ever saw.Its definitely a must see movie.I loved Kansas Carradine in this film.She did a wonderful job.The actors worked so well together.They had a lot of chemistry.This movie is like a nicer version of silence of the lambs.I loved how Carradine was captured and taken out of her will for her nigthmares.I love how the actors played their roles in the film so well.This movie made me feel that something like this could happen.It is a possibility.It keeps you thinking whats next and makes you want more.Its hard to stop watching its so interesting.I definitely loved this movie and i recommend this movie to everyone.
