Astounding

The richness of this film, the depth is outstanding. I was completely moved by it. I cannot get over the artistry of this film, and the smart script. Very well written, very well cast, very well done overall. I am going to find this DVD to buy.

One of the many interesting aspects of this film was its parallels to Western society in terms of classism and how the underprivileged are treated and exploited by the privileged who claim to want to help.

It is a heart-rendering film. And yet, it is a celebration of the hopefulness of childhood and the virtue of a naturally good person.

The marionettes were impressive.
