As production continues on DC Studios' Clayface in Liverpool, England, these latest photos and video from the set have left people wondering what exactly could be going on in the scenes being filmed.
The video shows star Tom Rhys Harries out and about in Gotham's fair city as Matt Hagen, dancing on the steps of the courthouse to Fred Astaire's rendition of "The Way You Look Tonight" from the movie Swing Time. A large spotlight is shining directly on the pillars, and Harries can be seen making shadow puppets.
A cardboard cutout of the original Nosferatu was also spotted, with the vampire's unmistakable silhouette cast on the building.

When the clock struck midnight on Aug. 28, 2015, Halsey was sitting in her first Los Angeles apartment. Her one-bedroom in Studio City was hundreds of miles away from the Brooklyn neighborhoods that inspired her anagrammed stage name and countless stories to tell. Those streets, with their bizarre characters and ominous affairs, were a short distance from where she grew up in New Jersey, though that place seemed far away, too. Everything was changing for the musician, who was 20 years old at the time, but she was removed from it. There were...

It looks like the Gotham City gangster, believed to be Jimmy "Red" McCoy (possibly on orders from Roland Daggett), really did a number on Hagen's face.
How will Hagen go from what we see below to the monstrous Clayface?

One of the coolest features of T-Mobile is its Test Drive program, which allows non-customers to get up to 30 days of T-Mobile phone service to find out whether or not it actually works better than their current provider. Hurst is set to exit her role as Blue Ant’s Global Head Acquisitions & Content Strategy in December and is planning to take a career sabbatical in 2026 before re-entering the international TV space.
The London-based exec has been with Blue Ant since the company acquired her distribution biz, Drive Media Rights, in 2022. Her co-founder at Drive, Ben Barrett, remains as Blue Ant’s Global Head of Content Financing and Partnerships.
Hurst’s exit is understood to be entirely amicable and as such she is helping with the process of finding her replacement, we hear. Batman’s rogues’ gallery is already stacked with some of the most iconic villains in comic book history. But this time, horror maestro Mike Flanagan is bringing Clayface to life, as one of the creepiest, and most tragic villains. Known for being the mastermind behind The Haunting of Hill House and Doctor Sleep, Flanagan has revealed that his script for the live-action take on Clayface was inspired directly by Batman: The Animated Series.
Speaking with ComicBook.com, Mike Flanagan mentioned that the shapeshifting villain draws from the unforgettable two-part episode Feat of Clay. For Flanagan, that storyline, voiced so memorably by Ron Perlman, was the version that defined the character, mixing tragic humanity with grotesque horror.

Harrison Dossick, an entertainment and media litigator with Glaser Weil, has died. He was 65.
He died unexpectedly on Aug. 14 following a heart attack, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.
With a sprawling career of four decades, Dossick worked with clients in the entertainment and media industries. He further specialized in intellectual property litigation and general commercial disputes.
Most notably, Dossick represented Angelina Jolie in her 2011 copyright infringement lawsuit over In the Land of Blood and Honey, which served as her directorial debut. Sylvester Stallone is reportedly upset that Noah Centineo and not his longtime preferred choice, Ryan Gosling, has been cast as the young John Rambo in the upcoming prequel John Rambo. A source revealed to RadarOnline.com,
Sly had his eye on Ryan for years to take the part, and thinks he would have been a far better fit than Noah. He’s basically raging it’s going ahead without a Hollywood heavyweight attached. Sylvester was raging when he found out the studio had gone with Noah instead. He felt Ryan brought a depth and edge that would have honored the legacy, while Noah – in his eyes – just doesn’t carry the same gravitas.

"Nicolas Cage: Good or Bad?" This was the evergreen question that Abed Nadir posed to his peers in the cult classic comedy series Community. Abed argued that Cage's performances are often difficult to categorize in binary terms, and that he's actually a more nuanced actor than he's given credit for. Abed's right, of course; only Cage could have done what he did in Michael Sarnoski's Pig, a movie that he described as an absolute favorite of his. But then again, nobody but Cage could've headlined the 2007 sci-fi disaster Next. Nearly two decades after its release, Next has debuted on Netflix, attracting immediate attention.

Director Zach Cregger is quickly establishing himself as one of the most exciting voices in horror. The comedian-turned-scare merchant makes demented flicks that are as terrifying as they are original, full of twists and turns and plenty of surprises. With "Weapons," he's delivered a twisted suburban nightmare that tackles the harrowing subject matter of missing children, and let's just say the story ventures to some wild places. Much like his previous horror shocker "Barbarian" (one of the best films of 2022), "Weapons" is a mystery that proves original horror is alive and well, and any future movie with Cregger's name attached to it has our attention.

Back in 2015, Halsey made her bid for an alternative approach to pop stardom with her debut album Badlands. She was already Tumblr royalty, so similarly conquering pop didn’t seem too far out of reach. The young artist set herself apart with an elaborately planned narrative that accompanied the record and pulled fans into another world. Each detail was immaculate and intentional, which is why listeners have wondered for an entire decade about whatever happened at the end of the “New Americana” music video, when Halsey awakes in the desert...

Vince Gilligan may be most famous for his iconic creation, Breaking Bad, but the idea for Walter White was planted years ago in an episode of The X-Files. “Drive” in season 6, which aired on November 15, 1998, introduced us to a character named Patrick Trump, portrayed by Bryan Cranston. This was a character, so sympathetic, intense, and morally ambiguous that he saw the perfect antihero potential in him.
In the hour-long episode, Gilligan realised Cranston’s prowess to make even a villain seem human, an essential trait for Walter White. Gilligan’s writing experience from the X-Files gave him the craft of building monstrous figures with empathy. That tension between the man and the villain is what came through perfectly in Walter White’s story.

Following the recent news that Naomi Ackie is in talks to join the cast of DC Studios' Clayface movie, we're hearing that Max Minghella is also being eyed for a key role.

While it's great to see specialty home media labels restoring cult films from the 60s and 70s, I'm also very happy to see modern classics being given the special edition treatment. Such is the case for Hellbender, from John Adams, Zelda Adams, Lulu Adams, and Toby Poser (The Adams Family). Originally seen at the Fantasia International Film Festival in 2021 before heading to Shudder the following year, the film will be released as a limited edition Blu-ray by Arrow, and we have the exclusive trailer premiere.
"Growing Up Is Hell
The sixth feature film from acclaimed filmmakers The Adams Family (The Deeper You Dig), Hellbender is a spell-binding folk horror and coming-of-age story, boiling over with adolescent rage and wicked witchcraft.
Teenager Izzy lives in isolation with Mother because she has a rare immune disorder. Or so she is told. After befriending local girl Amber, Lizzy begins to question the reality of her disease.

Vince Gilligan, the mastermind behind Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, is back on TV after a three-year absence. His new Apple TV+ series was announced back in 2022, and now we have a title, a release date, and a mysterious teaser. Pluribus will premiere on Apple TV+ on November 7, 2025, and will center around "the most miserable person on Earth" who "must save the world from happiness." Pluribus (which means "many" or "several" in Latin) is a science fiction series set, much like Gilligan's previous two series, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. It will star Rhea Seehorn, who earned rave reviews in Better Call Saul as lawyer Kim Wexler.
However, Seehorn is not in evidence in the teaser, which is titled "Happiness Is Contagious" and opens in a commercial building at night. As crickets chirp outside, a woman carefully removes donuts from a box, one by one, and gives them a big lick,...
