I absolutely love love love this show. I am currently in school to be a flight medic and watching this show is not only enjoyable to watch it is an inside look to what I hope to do one day. I truly learn from this show and have been able to apply what I'm learning in anatomy to the different cases that come in. For the love of God please let's get this show back up and running for those of us who are striving to be the best we can be and save lives!

Dr. Scalea is the man!!! He is great at what he does and my new inspiration! I want to be as good as he is in my field of work!

As a former medic, I absolutely love the authenticity of the show. I love seeing actual medical scenes, true injuries (not dramatized). I'm watching this when it is already 20 years old, but this show is addictive and I need so much more than the episodes offered. I am fascinated that the state police operate the life flight service. I wanted to dislike Dr Scalia. I loved him from the end of the first episode. The first balck, female trauma surgeon in the US works (ed?) at Shock Trauma. Synthetic blood substitute. Medic call ins. Volume of cases. This is fascinating. You see good outcomes and bad outcomes. If you want authentic ER care, watch this!
