I would like to congratulate the producers and creators of Dead Like Me for creating a highly entertaining, controversial and humorous TV series that poses the question; is there life after life?. I hope the producers make many more episodes and have great success in the future with Dead Like Me,I hope there is many more seasons to come. i also want to congratulate the choice of actors and actresses, and they are truly a good bunch of talented actors, notable mentions go to Ellen Muth, Laura Harris and Callum Blue. They all bring their separate characters to life(excuse the pun)and all bounce off each other which results in a very unpredictable, and a very enjoyable TV show.
And, sadly, not much depth in its description of the often excellent series, aside from a few pointed comments, mostly by Mandy Pantinkin, about some of the upgrades in complexity the show underwent in its second and probably final season. At least less time was spent in this slight doc than in the series itself in trying to convince us of the physical beauty of Ellen Muth, a rather odd drumbeat to have run through the two seasons (particularly considering how many better-looking actresses were involved with the series, including Jasmine Guy and Cynthia Stevenson). But it's nice to get a sense of how the cast and one (1) behind-the-camera representative felt about working on this fine series.

I watched this and the Dead Like Me series by chance. I was hooked instantly and can't get enough. The series is witty, thought provoking and just plain entertaining. It answers all the questions you never asked and puts a hilarious spin on events.
The cast is fantastic. They are not special except in the way they are just like people you meet everyday.
This is type of program you can watch over and over again and see something new. There are always little stories going on in the background.
Can you imagine that the grim reapers have to eat, earn money and perform their duties via a yellow sticky note.

I am not someone who gets attached to TV shows very often or even watches much TV in general, but this show is so very original, and funny. I have been a fan since it first appeared on Showtime and also watch the DVDs often. It is truly a nice change from all the CSI/ Law and Order/ According to Jim etc... boloney we have been bulldozed by for the last few years. This show proves that there are at least some people out there that wish to watch something that requires more than half a brain cell and a bend towards creativity to appreciate. Unfortunately, the cancellation of "Dead Like Me" shows that those folks are a minority. At least within the group that subscribes to Showtime. I think Ellen Muth is both beautiful and charming. The characters played by Christine Willes, Cynthia Stevenson and Britt McKillip are also wonderfully interesting. Actually, the whole cast is a brilliant grouping. I am glad that HD and SciFi are showing past episodes, giving the opportunity to those outside the Showtime box to see it. I wish someone would bring it back and we would get a season 3.
