I checked this film out thinking since it was from Europe, that it might be the Polish answer to Win Wenders "Wings of Desire".

No chance. This is a moderately budgeted chick flick also aimed at the overweight loner who doesn't see himself as romantic, but has perhaps led a pretty decent life, yet has little to no confidence where the opposite sex is concerned.

And that's all there is to it. The antics posed by the angels are pretty juvenile or bland, and don't really do much to add to the story other than to push the narrative forward.

We really don't get any insight into anything about what love is, who it effects, why it effects people, and all the other philosophical messages that really good stories present to us.

It's slow, uninspired, some-what low budget, but with a professional gloss that tells me that it was probably a cable production fobbed off to the US as an artistic European film.

It's neither. It's a production that you could see on one of the cable networks aimed at American women, only this one was done in Poland. I'm sorry I wasted my time on it.

Boring. Avoid.
