Saw this at the Trieste Science Fiction Film festival recently. Many walked out of the cinema in the middle of the film and I was tempted too but I'm glad I stayed. I still don't fully understand this film but the director did explain beforehand that films shouldn't be seen only once. The cinematography is excellent and it's intended to make you think which it achieves very nicely. Although there's a brief synopsis provided, this still doesn't explain what the film's about and even after watching it halfway through you'll still feel baffled. Resist the urge to give up and watch something else. This film makes you think about life, why we're here and the control that people have over our lives. Well worth the time to see. Then see it again.

This is a movie about the soul that happened in your dream.

To really benefit from it you need to engage with it through your imagination and unconscious. A police procedural movie, where the crime is the reality, that reality that can't be controlled by the ideology, the state or other man made systems of control.
